    About 5 months ago my maplestory account got banned from dying repeatedly, AKA having a bye-bye Kanna on reboot. After appealing twice that month I gave up and quitted the game.

    Ticket I got after my first ban appeal.

    After about 3 months I came back to the game. Fresh start. Yesterday I tried to get my account back once again and sent an appeal, which was denied and in order to get my old IGNs back I decided that I might as well delete the account.

    So I go to live chat to start the process of deleting my account. After stating my reason to the GM he copy/paste his response and basically tells me to appeal the permanent ban I got a couple of months ago. I told him repeatedly I had already done that recently and there was no reason to appeal again, but as I said before he simply copy/paste his response onto the chat and with no avail I decided to appeal once again, through him. He replied with the obvious answer, that my account is permanently banned, which I expected, then he proceeded to ban me from using Customer Support, since according to ToS I was abusing their services and then ended the chat, without me being able to delete my account or demand an explanation.Chat log from that conversation:

    (08:58:36 PM) Alex: It's just confusing. I was recently denied my appeal, by recently I mean 3 hours ago, and you are telling me to ask for an appeal again and then what? Do I just make a ticket to get the account deleted instead of asking for an appeal?

Upon further checking, I'm afraid that as what was stated on your previous ticket, we would like to inform you that we'll unable to revert the action done on the account for it was found violating the Terms of Use and/or Code of Conduct. Also, it appears that you've been warned previously that further contact regarding the same concern that has been addressed will be considered an abuse of Customer Support System and will result in suspension of your ability to contact support. With that said, I will now close the chat so that I may assist other player's concern.

    TL;DR Nexon banned my account for having a suicide kanna, I wanted to get my IGNs back by deleting my account, Nexon 'forced' me to appeal several times and then banned me from using customer service to delete my already permanently banned account. They set me up to get banned from customer service and made it impossible for me to delete my account.

    [EDIT]: I decided to send ANOTHER ticket to them, they basically said that there's nothing I can do, because not only am I banned in game, they can't do anything about someone that is banned to talk to Customer Service :^)

    This is what I ended up with. Nothing I can do, they just locked my account for no reason and will never be able to do anything with it. Not even delete it.

    MapleSea issue with downloading

    Hello everyone,

    Is there any Maplesea players here that face problems with downloading of the full client v189 from the website?

    I've been trying to download the client but everytime when it reaches 99% it would pop up a message saying 'broken link', then filecheck failed..

    the file is still there and i can still install it, but it just showing the Nexon logo at the bottom right of my screen and after few minutes of the blue loading logo, it will show the error message saying 'connection to server has ended'..

    I've been uninstalling and redownloaded the client for lots of times since last night, and tried it among three different pc, all experienced the same issues...

    Is there anyone with v188, v187 or v186 for me to download? maybe will try to patch from there...

    Last night when I got online I noticed my nexon launcher was logged out. Didn't think anything of it and tried to log back in and got the Google authenticator message... But I hadn't set it up.

    So I looked in my email and someone had requested a temporary code, but the code email was unread and presumably they weren't able to get into my email because it's locked down with 2FA on my phone which I had on me. I didn't get any notice and there were no recent login attempts when I checked activity.

    So I reset my email password to be safe, reset my password on my nexon account, and opened a ticket with support.

    Has anyone else had something like this happen? I'm assuming the account was compromised on Nexon's end. I'm not even locked out of it because it was linked to my steam and I've logged in on that side to keep it safe while I wait for support.

    It just seems super clumsy for a hacking attempt.

    Returning old player looking for help!

    My friend is quitting this game because people were bullying him and he asked if I wanted to give maple a try again with his account. I'm really interested in playing this game again but I have questions regarding how friendly this game is for new players? What is a basic crash course for this game? I haven't played since before big bang I think was the name of the patch? Also is bullying rampant in this game? Thanks in advance!

    2ATT LINES ON WSE OR 1ATT LINE AND MORE %STAT ON EQUIPS(REBOOT)

    I am playing a hero on Reboot and finally got most of my BiS equips to EPIC 6% str. I have a 2b budget to pot my items and would like to know if it would better to prioritise 2/3L ATT ON WSE or 1L ATT on WSE and remainder to % STAT on other equips?

    Who is your favorite Maplestory npc?

    Hi guys saw the new random pet thing in the shop today with Orchid in it and was wondering which characters are people's favorites (and why, if you don't mind :D), or which character you wouldn't mind following you around as a pet.

    I was thinking a Jenny one (without her helmet uwu) would be really cute. She's my favorite for some reasons I listed in this post of mine and she follows you around in the Omega Sector questline anyway so she'd be a neat (and I'd imagine easy) character to add as a pet (please!)/android (meh, but still Jenny uwu) in the future.

    Returning & Looking for Active Friends

    I have been playing on/off since pre bb and have multiple 200+ characters with valuable items on Scania (5K Legion) & Reboot (3K Legion).

    I love many aspects of Reboot, but the meso farming is slowly turning me away from the game. I am thinking of returning to main servers and am looking for a large active guild that has a discord and strong sense of community to start my journey with. I should probably go back to Scania as it would save time on link skills, but I am not oppose to leaving it altogether to start fresh and feel less tied down by existing items and characters.

    If I don't find any good options, I might start completely fresh in Aurora or Elysium and start a guild for people who are interested in doing the same with me. Maybe we can start our own thing and go savage mode together.

    Chaos Scrolls and Additional Options Interaction?

    How do chaos scrolls interact with AO not originally found on an equipment?

    For example, say you have a sweetwater tattoo and flamed it with an attack AO. If you were to scroll it with a CoG or ICoG, could the scroll alter the attack stat?

    How long would it take to get CRA playing solo in Reboot with no NX?

    Title. Do you think it's even possible? I mean even without NX for a pet (meaning you have to kill Hilla to get one or get ULTRA lucky to get a perma pet from an event). Everyone I knew in Reboot got carries to bosses, and the ones that didn't, cheated at some point to be able to do it. What would be your strategy to kill harder bosses by playing solo?

    Hitting very low on bosses, is it my Ignore defense?

    I've been trying to take on bosses like Hellux and Hmag for the past few days, I hit very very low on them compared to what I hit on monsters at chu-island and other mobs my level (212)

    I've got 130% boss and 89% IED. Is hitting lower just normal?
