    Do you need help selecting your main character? Are you new to the game and don't know where to start? Are you a returning player who is trying to get back into the game? Are you hesitating between two classes or what will be your next link skill/legion mule?

    Feel free to ask any questions regarding the class selection or anything else about the game. As a recommendation, please mention your world and/or server inside a bracket [] at the start of your question. Our community will try their best to answer them for you.

    Hello MapleStory! CM Kyrios reporting in.

    Hi everyone. I'm the new addition to MapleStory's community team, CM Kyrios. I just joined the team today!

    I'll be working alongside CM Ghiblee to handle all the community-related tasks for MapleStory since the game is big enough to warrant more than one Community Manager handling it.

    Some of you might recognize me as the former CM of MapleStory 2 and more recently the interim CM for Mabinogi while their official CM was on maternity leave. I'm happy to see a lot of familiar faces from my old community here in MapleStory as well. It feels like a reunion in a way.

    Unlike MapleStory 2 though, I am inexperienced in the way of MapleStory. I'm taking a lot of time to delve into the game and learn what you've all been playing for years already as quickly as I can. So please pardon me if I'm a little slow on the take on some topics. My colleagues convinced me to join Bera to play with them and my first character choice was Hoyoung (second will be Kinesis).

    I'll be regularly reading here as well on the subreddit so don't be afraid to say hello. I'll also make an appearance on this upcoming livestream this Friday as well if you wanna stop by.

    Lotus Electric Floor is not RNG

    Not sure if applicable for party Lotus, but from what I seen it seems to be true in a party as well.

    Not sure if this is common knowledge or not, but I saw someone say recently Lotus electric floor is purely RNG when the electricity portion pops up and is impossible to predict. However, based off all the runs I ever done (consistent across all my runs) and people in my BL:

    If the plats are hovering/falling and Lotus has NOT used or is using his punch, the electric floor will be instant or near instant

    If the plats are hovering/falling and Lotus uses punch, the electric floor will be around normal time, a second or so in before it pops up

    If the plats landed and Lotus uses punch, the floor will be fairly late

    If Lotus manages to use two punches during the duration of platforms appearing, the electricity will pop up VERY late and you most likely will have to jump at the last second or else platforms will despawn early to avoid touching it as you fall down.

    However, Lotus CAN punch IMMEDIATELY after the electric floor has gone off.

    I've been able to recreate this on every Lotus run I've done so far, and people in my BL share the same experience.

    Just wanted to post this, had a free day, its 5:30am, dont trust that 1944 combo, it took like 2800+ holy cow, i thought that i had to do something special for the last mob or something after so much time, i know these take their time but holy farming

    So a few months back I was playing via my Steam account and they made me change my PIC. Can't remember what to and when taken to the website and trying to log in with my steam email it doesn't work. Probably because I changed my steam email to a now lost email that I cannot log in to.

    So basically it's gone? I know Maplestory customer service is a joke and creating a ticket hasn't even crossed my mind.

    What's the Storyline of Henesys Ruins

    I'm currently a level 165 aran and skipped a lot of the dialogue, which I regret a lot. Does anyone know the full story? I'm interested in reading about it as it is chilling to see Henesys and Ereve like that but I can't find anything on the internet. Thanks in advance!!

    Maple can you just increase the vertical range a little bit for piercing arrow? Xbow quite hard to train before getting second hyper skill...

    I played about a year or 2 ago with my girlfriend and got a bunch of 200 characters but we stopped playing cause we couldn't really play with each other. You're better off grinding or playing by yourself to make progress (unless bossing of course).

    Is monster collection affected by the 100% drop rate reduction caused by elite boss curses?

    Every time I go hunting I never know for sure so I usually just deactivate the runes, but I kinda like not worrying about drops anyway on low level mobs, plus waiting for the rune cooldown if I need to deactivate another one seems like a waste.

    Edit: I just collected while the rune was still on and there was 0% drop rate, so my question was answered! I'll leave this up though for anyone that might have the same question.

    Is it true that the big leg stomp attacks alternate? For example if the first one is Yellow, the next will be white, then yellow again and so on
