| The 'I wish I had known' Thread Posted: 04 Oct 2020 01:21 PM PDT Hello Maplers, I am returning after 7+ years or more of being away from MS and plan on returning tonight to Reboot NA. I have always been meticulously in my approach to games, usually have a game plan, and always aim to be as efficient as possible, especially with how little time I have to play games as a new father. I plan on catching up with YT videos for guides, training, etc. but... My question is: What is your 'I wish I had known' MS moment/ experience (on the more beginner-end of advice) that you would give to a returning player? What I am worried about is stuff like, oh you should not have open that free gift so early because of so & so, or you don't actually have to walk everywhere, you can do this & that, or to be most efficient with your money, you save up to cube during a cube sale, etc. [I played MS before there was cubing so this will be a big learning curve for me]. I'm worried that I am jumping straight into my 'ideal' main character (after watching a lot of class YT vids) and I don't want to do some sort of action that will put me at a disadvantage forever simply because I didn't know. Thank you in advance for your advice! [More about me: I am thinking of maining Paladin. I was a Dark Knight and Bishop prior. Purpose of playing is anything regarding partying/socializing/assisting. So I'm thinking that bossing parties, helping others with bossing, being in a guild, providing parties skills not common, etc?] [link] [comments] | ||

Let's go back in time, starting in 2008 when a user decides to splurge $$$ on the game to buy the best gears and a lot of EXP multipliers/buffs. | Posted: 04 Oct 2020 08:49 PM PDT Ive been recently gearing a Shade, and watched a few videos of Shades on the KMS server, and when theyre bossing they always used Spirit Frenzy when it turned pink on their hotbar. Im assuming thats from Moonbeams buff. When I Use Spirit Max on Reboot NA Moon beam does her spirit frenzy but i dont see mine turn pink. Just curious if the 700% final damage is proccing or if im doing something wrong. [link] [comments] | ||

I'm debating on which server to play on, KMS (Scania) or GMS (Bera) and I'm looking to spend some real money on the game. Which would give me more bang for the buck... mesos for the buck I guess? I've read that GMS meso prices have been increasing recently due to bot banning, and I'm fairly sure that kms would have more items on the auction house, thus better economy? | Help with Alchemy/Extracting?? Posted: 04 Oct 2020 04:05 PM PDT So I'll preface this by saying I just started playing the reboot like a week ago. Before that I hadn't played in many years and i didn't even know it was still a thing Anyway I'm trying to extract rosemary to get magic blue powder so I can make the transform green mushroom potions for the talking tree quest I have the extracting window open where it tells me to drag the items into the box to extract but I can't? It won't let me drop any items into it. Am I missing something or? Any help would be appreciated [link] [comments] | ||
