MapleStory [Weekend Megathread] Newbie Questions - October 18, 2019

Hey all, I tried googling this issue, and it seems some people have it. The one fix I see people give is to relog and queue, but Ive relogged so many times and it doesnt give me to option to queue. Alternarively some people had to wait a few hours, but its been over 12 now.... and no luck

I dont know what else there is for me to do for the prequest: I killed Julieta in story mode and got to the missions board thing. If I go back to Abrup Base Camp, all I can do is reset story or view mission board......

Cloudie completion error....

So i forgot to complete the quest yesterday and didnt click on the reward for it to count torwards the dailies so today at reset i got the cloudie restart quest... That's fine . I forgot so it was my fault.

After the 30 min wait i expected to complete the one from yesterday but no. The quest reset to Cloudie number 1 again.

So i completed the cloudie number 2 and cloudie number 3 bur never got the final cloudie so i cant complete the quest for today neither...

I wanted the freaking bonus stats and now seems like i wont get it e.e

Needing some advice

So I'll place this under discussion, but it's also partially a question. This is a bit of a nostalgia trip, but I really don't know where else to post this. I've just been needing to get this off my chest, and maybe some others who can relate.

How would I essentially get back into this game? I started playing back right when the 1st year anniversary was about to kick off, and I was just some elementary kid who didn't know what was going on. I learned to love the game and could only ever dream of achieving the legendary level 120, and to maybe one day take Tiger's name. I continued to play through the years, the dethroning of Tiger, with the top changing a little until it settled on Fangblade. I experienced the releases of max level 200, 4th job advancement, Knights of Cygnus and more. Then, during the release of Big Bang I would meet my long term GF right after it. We would be together for nearly 4 years until some stuff went astray, but during the time we experienced all things Maple and made the relationship real. I had experienced even more classes with Resistance, Aran, Evan, and Demon Slayer. Things began to change, I would always return to Maple for new classes, grinding out to 4th job skills, then would leave the game. I've experienced every major update, but never really had that same drive that I had right before/post Big Bang. Honestly, I've been missing that same passion for this game, but I feel it had a lot to do with the community at the time. I was a guild leader of 200 strong in Bellocan mainly focused on boss hunting; I logged on about 7 months ago and I specifically remember these others discussing getting off and just playing Roblox. At that point, I felt this game was a whole different world/community that I didn't understand. Anyone who can lend advice or relate, feel free to comment. I know it's a wall of text, but this game was such a huge aspect of my life that I just can't ignore the nostalgia and want for the old days again.

[Reboot]Question about wind archer emblem's potential

As a main wind archer, I dont have any IED skills. I just got the potential on my emblem to be 70 IED and 9 att, should I keep it, or aim for 30 att ? (I have enough mesos and got like 24 att once, but decided to roll over)

I'm not new to maplestory but I am very inexperienced. What does it mean to carry someone? Also what is mvp that people talk about on smegas? I'm level 173 on reboot and I just joined a guild but I don't really know what people are talking about. I haven't really done any bosses I've only leveled up through quest and I'm not sure what I'm doing but I'm having fun playing regardless! If you have any advice for me that would be awesome 👍

Edit: also what is meso farming and is it required?

Pathfinder Cadena Link

Is cadena link worthwhile to use as a pathfinder? The class does not seem to have a constant debuff and I'm not sure if the ancient curse debuff is counted for the cadena link, would appreciate it if any pathfinder players know about this, thanks!

Hey I Haven't played Maplestory since v162 so its been a while and I was wondering how grindy is reboot?

Do i have to be grinding 5 hours a day on a Kanna or is it less grind? Does it have to be kanna for the farming class or can it be any other? What should I be doing in the beginning? Link Skills? Anything else? How long till I become viable for bosses like CRA, Magnus?

Best Mage class for bossing in general, solo and/or in party.

As mentioned in the title, I am currently unsure which Mage to go for as my main. My contenders (in no particular order) are Illium, kinesis, I/L, F/P, Battle Mage and maybe kanna.

Assuming that they will be equally funded, which job is the best at bossing at very high level (cPapu, lotus Damien and above)?

If it helps, I am playing in MapleStorySEA. I feel like illium is very squishy, F/P is kinda hard to train, kanna has low dmg output by herself. Not sure about kinesis bossing at 5th job tho. I quite like I/L, BaM and kinesis 5th job skills for bossing.
