| Extremely old player, wondering what End Game is currently like? Posted: 04 Nov 2019 03:12 PM PST So i first started playing maplestory 13 or so years ago, played for a handful of years... but the game eventually got to the point where it was shitting out new content like no tomorrow, and it was impossible for me to keep up with the updates. End Game goals at the time, from what i recall, were the handful of really cool bosses... The statue, three headed giant dragon, giant balrog, and pink bean. Loads of the mini games were tons of fun too, though i remember them becoming completely dead during my final months (Monster Carnival was one of them i think?) The last "big feature" i remember was the victoria Island(?) revamp... The release of the Dawn Knights(?)... and a couple of the hero classes (Aran & Evan specifically). I started to play less and less from this point, but Nexon seemed to be pushing out more and more content... And whenever i tried getting back into it, i was COMPLETELY and utterly at a loss of what my "goals" should be. It didn't help that they totally revamped some systems i used to be familiar with, such as: Gearing. So maybe this is a stupid question, but could someone break down what "End Game" currently consists of? None of the guides make any sense to me, since they expect me to already know some mechanics which are still too recent for me to understand. Do those style of End Game Bosses/Quests still exist? Something i can look forward to, work towards as a long term goal, and get adequate satisfaction for finally beating....? Is End Game gearing still meaningful, how/where do i get the BiS if so...? Or has the game become nothing more than grinding for levels? Thanks :) [link] [comments] | ||

| Newbie question about proggresion. Posted: 04 Nov 2019 07:48 PM PST Hi guys, I just wanna take an advice because i have no clue what to do right now or rather what i should focus on rn. So basicly i am 203lvl kaiser and i am stuck at 600k range. I have everything scrolled by 70% and poted for 6%. And there is where the problem begins. I have literally no idea how to progress with my range any futher. Should i try to get uniqe everywhere or maybe should i perfect scroll everything with 15% and 30% scrolls. I am pretty new player and this is my main char so i dont have a lot of mesos to spend right now (but i can grind some commerci so thats not a big problem :P), i have some other chars for legion and link skills but basicly every other is around 150lv. If u guys can be so nice and helpful and give me some advices i would be soo greatful. I am playing on regular server if that matters. [link] [comments] | ||

| Character got blocked for no reason Posted: 04 Nov 2019 01:06 PM PST IN A TIME CONSIDERABLY CLOSE TO THE PRESENT I FELT THE SUDDEN NOSTALGIC URGE (amazing bots on this sub btw) to play on my old bera characters, having a good time on my dual blade. After finishing my dailies I decide to check out my old Luminous, which I haven't touched since 2015 I think. So I head on in and what do I know the so called "Maple Police" blocked my Luminous for hacking. Thanks a lot Nexon. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 04 Nov 2019 09:11 AM PST Hello! So typically, I won't make a thread like this, however I need some advice from the community and questions from mains of these classes. Since most videos I find on YouTube are people soloing these bosses with ranges much higher than mine. And my bossing attempts would be more similar to a marathon! So at the moment I have a level 162 Demon Slayer and 168 Shad that I am playing. Pretty evenly at the moment, especially since I'm trying to get totems, but I'm struggling greatly at even killing normal RA. [link] [comments] |
