Upcoming teraburn event Posted: 14 Nov 2019 05:26 PM PST Hello, fellow maplers! Coming back from a few month hiatus here. Noticed that there was a tera burn event coming up soon, so I was wondering about how best to capitalize on the opportunity. Should I burn a kanna to 200 for an arcana farmer? I already have a 150 kanna with all the meso gear, but the recent bye-bye bans are discouraging. Or should I burn my new main(demon slayer) up and just level my 150 kanna to 200? Please keep in mind that I only have around 400 mil on me at the moment, so choosing to level my 150 kanna to 200 will probably leave me low on funds. How rare is 21% atk on emblem. Settle for 18% atk unique? Posted: 14 Nov 2019 01:14 PM PST Forgot "?" in title :( Is 21% atk on emblem rare to roll at leg? From experience, it seems like atk lines are much harder to roll. My emblem is currently 18% atk at unique. Mpots on rest of my equips are pretty much done, so it's just this emblem. Is it worth getting it to L for the 3% extra atk if I would just settle at 21% atk or even 12% atk, 9% dmg? Upcoming Tera Burning event Reboot question Posted: 14 Nov 2019 05:58 PM PST This might be a really really dumb question but, for the upcoming Tera Burning + Extreme Breakthrough Events where it states "Obtain Permanent Root Abyss Armor and Permanent Fafnir Weapons as you burn your way along." will this also apply to Reboot? I can't find anywhere being stated that this is different for Reboot (Maplestory news updates usually come with a modified section for Reboot) but a part of me is in huge disbelief that Nexon will just let us get End Game gear without being carried or working extremely hard for it. Help out a newbie to end game Posted: 14 Nov 2019 03:15 AM PST So I'm kind of a newbie to the mid levels of the game (specifically bossing and quests after level 150). So I'm a level 150 Mechanic in Bera and I have about 75~90k range (while on my mech) and 80~95k with Maple Warrior plus 66% boss damage, 15% final damage, 44% crit change (74% when I'm in the tank form) and 8% crit damage (yeah I know... I should work on my crit rate and crit dmg). So I wanted to ask: What dailies, bosses and party quests should I do? For dailies, all I do is Monster Park. I know Mu Lung Dojo and Commerci are a thing but could I do them? If not, what range is recommended and what other dailies could I do? For bosses, I know I can do Normal Zakum, Hilla and Easy Magnus pretty easily but could I do Gollux, the RA bosses and easy Von Leon? What are the bossing ranges for normal servers now (I can only find Reboot or very old guides)? For party quests, I only know Dimension Invastion... What other dailies, bosses and party quests should I be doing? Also, for my equipment, what should I be looking to upgrade? I know I should get another totem, get a better medal and get mechanic parts (I still only have the bronze parts). What medal is the best right now? Also, what is the best badge and emblem? And how do I even get mech parts? I've read somewhere that some bosses/mobs can drop recipes? Lost in The Game. Need to Catch Up Posted: 14 Nov 2019 02:11 PM PST Hi. I started playing MapleStory back in 2005. Played until 2007 and stopped playing because of school etc. (I was 12 when I started) Tried to go back in 2011 with some success and stopped playing again because my pc somehow didn't want to run it anymore. Now I went back to it again and picked up my lvl 52 spearman and by doing random quests and grinding I now have a lvl 94 berserk. I was in Windia back then. Now I'm in Aurora. Did some research and there was a server merge very recently. And there is an oldschool Reboot server which is very nice to see. Also I see that most people have moved to Bera and Reboot. I'm unbelievably lost in the game. It's been so long and now there are tons of quests/content I'm not familiar to. I need some help or guide to get back on track. Here are the questions: Is it worth and/or fun in general to play MapleStory in 2019? I still love the look and feel of this MMO. Still reminds me the fun I had as a kid. Colorful 2d anime art style was the sole reason I started playing this game. I've seen MapleStory 2 but it looks so weird IMO. Should I start from scratch? I kinda want to do both since I like my character in Aurora. Anyway, which server should I make a new character? I despised the cash shop and Nexon's stupid rental p2w model back then and now I hate it even more but from what I've read there are ups and downs on both the normal servers and reboot server. I want to focus on one character. What class/job do you recommend? There are lots of jobs and with all the "new" content it's a bit overwhelming for me. Which one is worthwhile?
