I burnt myself out getting three Eye of Time Familiar Cards. Man, it was a b1tch. I did not know this break would last six months but I knew I would be back in time for the Glory Update in GMS. I was ready to Tera Burn a Kanna to LV 200 and farm my life away at Bye Bye so I could fund it. But, what do you know... People are getting banned for suicide farming. I don't know if I should come back, Tera Farm a Kanna to LV 200 and hope Nexon stop banning people, or just stay away from MapleStory. My laptop has all of the recommended specs for Maplestory and my internet was ok. It lagged a lot tbh so I decided not to play anymore. With the gaming community becoming more and more critical of games with rampant pay-to-win and "fee-to-pay" mechanics implemented into them, I want to show the greater community what MapleStory is really like now. Before someone gets upset, I do not hate the game. I actually really love Maple, which is why I want to show others what Nexon has been doing to it over the past 10 or so years. I want the game to change for the better. With that being said, I want to know what the active community is thinking about this. What do you want others to know? Do any mechanics in particular catch your attention as particularly egregious? Does the exclusivity of Marvel Machine items bother you? Has the Reboot world changed how you approach leveling/gear grind? Do you think the Reboot world had an effect on how pay-to-win the game is? Feel free to answer all, or none, of the questions. Now I'm trying it out again but the revamp has me so confused. I've been told... I'm supposed to attack with shikigami haunting now? Which is fine, do lots of damage with this... but what else? I have a couple full map attacks, which I guess I can just use whenever... But what do I do with mana? Haunting doesn't use any of it so I'm at a loss to what I'm missing. I'd love to hear people's thoughts on whether or not it is better to Tera Burn a Main or a Mule that you quickly want to get to 200/210 for link skill+Legion. Personally, I see Tera Burning as an opportunity to start a second Main since it helps you skip some of the stages of gear progression. [link] [comments] |
