I have a level 202 Dual Blade in Reboot and am looking for a guild to join, I've been playing maple since around 2014/2015 but still have a large lack of knowledge with gear progression, cubing, potentials, etc. I was looking to join a friendly guild that could possibly help me out with my Maple knowledge and surrounding things. Also I get pretty bored playing Maple these days yet I enjoy it so much and with an ever-dying player base I find it hard to find others to interact with so I think it'd be nice to play with or talk to people who are also passionate about the game. | DCing often when farming byebye with kanna Posted: 08 Nov 2019 08:58 AM PST I dc frequently but not constantly when I farm with my kanna. I have pet item exclude skill, tried resetting soul bomb but still dc. It is weird since dc has no patterns (sometimes dc in every 10 mins, sometimes once an hour) How do I fix this? | Posted: 08 Nov 2019 08:58 AM PST I understand that Sweetwater face and eye is considered better since it can go up to 15 stars and has 1% better potential lines, but would zak be on par or even slightly better with really good boss flames? I also use the bean cup so it would be a 3 boss set. I'm on reboot and am wondering if they are worth cubing or just to wait and work towards Sweetwater. [link] [comments] | ||
| We were (un)intentionally trolled by hackers. Recent wave of innocent hacking bans. Posted: 08 Nov 2019 06:11 AM PST After continuous tickets with support they finally said enough for me get the idea why I was banned for "hacker-like behavior" on my ByeBye Kanna:
"mob vaccing, full-map attacks" in that order was a clue. Story time! During 2nd 2x block after 0-ing my exp I went through "Fantasy Theme Park 3" and witnessed weird mobs behavior. "Vikerola" mobs on that map were stacked at the portal to ByeBye station - I have seen things like this before. But this time out of curiosity I've killed stacked group and then the newly spawned mobs started jumping off platforms and stacking at the portal again. It was weird enough to make me leave the map through Hyper Teleporting. If this was a "mob vaccing" then it looked quite modern to me because it didn't aggressively suck up monster to one place (like Ark skill does), they were just lured and taught to jump off platforms. For some of you light bulbs may start to pop up above your heads. 2x Exp,Drop event drew bunch of hackers around that time. Intentionally or not staying by them with that "mob lure" active at Fantasy Theme Park 3 was quite a trap for legit players to be drawn into. It was obvious that during event there will be increased player traffic especially at farming maps and possibly more of auto-banning subroutines would like to watch them. The "mob lure" was so unintrusive so that it probably didn't trigger Nexon' auto-banning system by itself. But players who went into that stack of mobs and killed them did; especially Kannas with Circle of Suppression active or idiots like myself who intentionally killed them with Shikigami Haunting. Also given that Nexon does their investigation by reading servers' event log entries, it would be hard to spot the context in which you have been flagged as a hacker. If they only filter out (grep) logs related to your account ID or playable character name it will legitimately look like hacking: you entered the map, you killed most monster with single non-wide attack at coordinates where monster shouldn't be standing. Lack of context because of filtering may lead to such conclusions during investigation. But if the server didn't log in any way the event of mob luring larger context won't help either because it's hard to tell if anyone started "vaccing" before you. Fin Have any of you, who got unjustly banned, noticed strange behavior on maps which you have visited while farming? Maybe you didn't notice that you had went through "murder scene" while surveillance system have noticed you there and labeled as a murderer. If you farm with Suicide Kanna in the same way as I do: 0 your Exp at Omega Sector and then teleport to FTP3 you may get wrong conclusions that the reason of you ban was "suiciding too quickly". If hackers put these traps intentionally they had quite a lot of fun recently - as always at someone else' expense. And for the record I'm still temporarily banned until 2019-12-01.
