I made a request of him today not for free kishin service, but to offer my own service for free in fixing, improving, and making his server much more friendly to any and everyone that joins it. | Posted: 21 Dec 2019 12:25 AM PST Since I'm quite broke after Starforce sunny sunday, and since I'm scared to extract by mistake my fancy new umbra weapon, I decided to buy a lock in cs. 1st lock was a 1 week, and worked just fine. Second lock? Since I'm gonna 15% it, and that I'm gonna need a huge amount of css for that, I knew it would have taken a lot of time to amass scrolls and spell traces. So I've bought a 30day lock just to be sure. About 30 minutes later somebody told me of upcoming Double Miracle Time. And fever. My Umbra is gonna watch it from its safe place. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 21 Dec 2019 12:04 AM PST I sperged a shade (best class) to 220 with the breakthrough event and plan on doin some cubing during DMT today. Im looking for a general rule of thumb on what to cube. I got cra and abso wep from relay. Rest of the gear is shite with drops from like horntail/zak/emag. I got glory ring and tenebris ring. Some stuff is already unique, emblem is unique with 9%att and 30? Pdr. Secondary is unique with 9% att. Should I focus on cubing epic stuff cause theres a chance pf double upgrade? Or focus more on getting a few items to legendary? Is it fine cubing those rings and face accessory from horntail/zak? Or maybe thats a waste? What about cubing pensilair gloves cape boot hands? Is that a waste? I guess absolab is what I want but that will take time? Any certain slots I wanna focus on? I dont like kanna so I aint farming on that, plan on farming on main so I guess I want mesodrop on rings etc? Just curious about how I should think when I cube since results can vary and I need to make decisions based on how things turn out during cubing. Also black or red cubes for dmt?;) My goal is to be sorta selfsufficient and be able to oneshot ish while grinding. Any advice is appreciated! [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 20 Dec 2019 05:12 PM PST I'm creating a Kanna to main and it's currently on 190 or so. Theoretically once I level up more, how would I go about mesos farming on this Kanna? Would I need to cube mesos gear? Then I would need a secondary set of equips for mesos and a primary set for damage, correct? I feel like I would have difficulty killing mobs if I equipped full mesos gear, or is this not the case? And do I go for the 20% mesos IA? Or are there better IA lines for Kanna? It spits me out of the cutscene, with a navigation to Edea and the new guy with no new quests from them. Whenever I leave the Outpost, it tells me to complete the mission and sends me back there. | Thoughts on improving MapleStory. Posted: 20 Dec 2019 02:15 PM PST Like many other folks, I've casually returned to MS for the Xth time over winter / summer breaks. TBH it's not bad. But it's not necessarily good either. MS has the same stuff every time I come back to check for updates. More fetch quests, more zzz dailies, skimpy MTX sales, pushed updates w/ zero testing, crashes, random bans, arbitrarily higher and higher damage lines, re-skinned content with the same mechanics, higher level cap, etc. etc. Same old, same old. It's not fun for new players at all. Honestly feels like you're getting punished for playing. Leveling to 200 is pretty much a ghost town and then the grind hits like a brick wall. I'm not against grinding - it's just that grinding for nothing seems ... pointless? You pretty much never interact with anyone ... you're just increasing damage for the sake of damage and not for playing meaningful content ... and the classes, at the end of the day, are all the same. Everything feels and plays the same - no niche abilities, etc. Why does it have to be this way? I believe it really doesn't. I'll be trying to piece together some of my thoughts over ~10 + years of on-and-off MS to brainstorm ways Nexon America can have strong quarterly performance AND have a good game too. There is a STUPID amount of money to be made for just basic changes. I get that there's an *interesting* relationship with Nexon Korean that affects management, game design, and execution ... (I mean, just look at the the Glassdoor reviews). But again, this is just my opinion. I just wanted to talk about improving the game because it doesn't seem insane to ask for. Below, I've split the discussion into categories that I'll be adding to. There's a bunch of stuff I'm going to dump here, so feel free to suggest categories / whatever you like in the comments below. I especially need some feedback on key improvement areas for Reboot / Non-Reboot as a whole.
