    Adele storyline bug and how to avoid not being able to max out the Recalling Greatness passive.

    With less than 24hrs until Adele's release on GMS I like to bring up a pretty annoying bug that prevents you from maxing out a passive skill that grants 10% atk and 10% critical dmg.

    The issue is with Adele's storyline quest that will become a GMS feature for a couple of months. It took 4 months until this issue was fixed in KMS. From what I've researched many people from MSEA have encountered the same issue that plagued KMS. The "Where is Jerome" quest has an unknown unintentional level cap, if you exceed it the quest will break and you can't complete it.

    "Where is Jerome" is a level 30 quest and should be completed asap to avoid triggering this bug and preventing you from maxing out this passive.

    Here is a timestamp of someone completing the "Where is Jerome" quest. You should receive the quest shortly after hitting 2nd job.

    If you have encountered this issue and can't progress the storyline I'm sorry, you have to wait until GMS gets the fix in a future update.

    Edit: Allegedly you can leave Ristonia and start powerleveling straight away at level 10 and not be affected by this bug.

    Steve (x3TheAran59) uploaded a MSEA 1-200 powerlevel of Adele, left Ristonia level 10 (18:11 mark), trained to 200 and then did the storyline quest without any problems.

    I know you're all jaded about how hackers come to Reddit and whine that they got their account banned in order to try and garner sympathy while being disingenuous, but we have to stop assuming that every single ban post is the result of them hacking. We shouldn't be assholes who just shout down members of our community that they're wrong or that they're a hacker when there's no proof. We're assuming that these players are scumbag hackers when in reality they're just like us. Of course not all of these posts are from legit players, but we should not just assume that every player banned was hacking. I didn't even get banned and yet I'm worrying as a legit player if I'll get falsely banned. The response should not be "JUst D0nT HAX".

    Alternative Maps for Popular Training Spots

    In anticipation of Adele's release tomorrow, I'm trying to think ahead and make note of alternative maps that I (or anyone, really) can go to, if popular training spots get too congested for optimal grinding.

    Does anyone have any suggestions? When I say popular training spots, I'm referring to Drakes, Scorpions/Sand Rats, Robos, Moon Bunnies, and so on.

    Most disappointing 5th job experiences?

    With the tera-burning event going on, what have been some of your most disappointing 5th job experiences? I dont mean if the class sucks - I mean if it felt like there was hardly any impact on gameplay.

    I'll start.

    Demon Avenger - Absolute trash. I cant even. My heart goes out to all DA mains out there. Literally unplayable.

    Thunder Breaker - Dont get me wrong, class is still super fun. But I'm a DB main. Lightning cascade with a 2m cooldown and 40 seconds uptime does less damage than 2 casts of Blades of Destiny, which is on a 10s cooldown. LGS is nice but no epic animations, gameplay feels exact same pre-5th

    My SO was falsely banned from Maplestory GMS-EU in Luna 2 months ago on the 23rd of April 2020 whilst she was doing trying to kill the Pixel-rog during the Pixel Party event. She was on her lvl 256 main saw that her character had some lag issues during the pixel-rog session but the timer was still going down so she casted her skills anyways. After that her client crashed and when she tried to relog into the game, she was greeted with this message

    She had been trying to get her account back for 2 months now but nexon only started looking into the situation today because for the past week more and more people are getting false bans. Some people might say that she's a hacker and is trying to use this announcement to get unbanned but she has been playing for 12 years and felt like she has lost half her life when she got unbanned. I am 100% sure that she hasn't done anything to get banned, me being a lvl 258 main have been playing with her for ages now. She even knows exactly which skills and names of the skills she was using during her fight with pixel-rog.

    She has tried to submit tickets, waiting patiently for a couple of days or more before submitting one and not spamming every now and then only to receive automated replies. I noticed someone has recently gotten unbanned so I tried to contact any mods in the official maple server. One of which has told me that they are only looking into cases in the past week EVENTHOUGH the ways the players have been false ban has been exactly the same. Someone in my buddy list was banned yesterday where he has some lags in the game whilst grinding and then was kicked out of the client only to receive the same message shown in the link posted above which is also similar to the bowmaster post. This is alarming for me because people are getting banned for POSSIBLY THE SAME REASON but only the recents ones are getting investigated... does she not deserve to get investigated as well ?! If they could check her account, SHE IS CLEARLY STILL IN THE PIXEL-ROG EVENT MAP.

    I still turn to her sometimes for information about the game and I've seen her giving advice time and time again to guildies and new players on how to progress and how to play the game. She sacrifices going on hard boss runs to carry guildies on normal runs and always has time to carry or do party quests with guildies just because she has that motherly figure inside of her and she loves to help people. I've done hard bosses such as lucid, will and gloom with her and other people before and mechanically speaking, she is really good because if we ever fail a run, she's always the last one inside if everyone dies out. I'm really sadden and by her false ban and worried because she has been eating less... I really hope nexon discovers the problem and has a fix for her and can get her unbanned...I don't know what more I can do for her to help her retrieve her account back. I am also recording my gameplay everyday now in case I too get falsely banned in hopes that it will help anyone who gets falsely banned.

    New to kanna- groundbreaking glitch?

    So I'm new to Kanna so not sure if this is a bug, or working as intended.

    For Tengu Strike, the way it works is, upon cast it spreads out horizontally, and upon recast it shifts back to Kanna's current position. Now by shift, I mean it travels across the map if it has to; it does not teleport back. I'm pretty sure the tengus cannot be too far away from Kanna. If kanna is too far away, they will teleport back to her within a set distance. This applies when you use hidden portals in the map (you know, the ones that take you across the map)

    The glitch(?):

    ​

    On the map 'Outside North Entrace of Ariant', if you cast Tengu, then take the hidden teleport portals back and forth (the ones that take you to the very edges of the left/right side of the map, Tengu will shift all way back across the map to you, traversing the entirety of the horizontal map. The result is it kills every Meerkat along the way. Tengu also WILL NOT expire, meaning all you do is tap up to use the portal every second.

    Using this method I leveled from 85 to 114 in 30 minutes. Probably faster if I could 1 shot the meerkats. Yes I stayed over 20 levels above meerkat because the exp gain was just that good

    Is this working as intended? I hope I dont get banned because the map was super laggy with all the accumulated drops on the ground.

    Once I claim the typhoon growth potion, it says that my coin total will be reset. Does this mean I won't be able to cap anymore coins until phase 2 comes out or would I just have to start over from 0?

    Tera burning

    I Tera burned a marksman to 150 and I hate it. I will never play it and the legion effect isn't worth it to me if I can remake the char... can I delete and re make a Tera burning char and still get frozen set?
