    The cube drop rate change they added in the last patch has been AMAZING. I went from getting maybe 1-2 meister cubes a week to basically getting that in a single day with not even full drop gear.

    Just wanted to give Nexon credit where credit is due, since they always get attacked for mistakes and shortcomings but rarely get praise for positive changes.

    Hopefully more changes like this come in the future (like maybe readding Singapore and Ulu City, since they removed those areas due to them being abused by botters which are now mostly gone, or making Matilda items permanent again).

    I know this may sound really nerdy and weird but I haven't played much since I started college and sometimes when I'm struggling really hard with not wanting to do my work I think of myself as a character in his 2nd job training really hard to get exp (good grades irl) so he can advance to his 3rd job (graduation irl for me). I know this is kind of silly but I just wanted to share this to hopefully help someone who is struggling. Sometimes in life it really helps to have a visual goal to keep pushing you and Maplestory is probably very dear to all of us so it's an easy visual. Hope this helps someone! Best of luck :)

    P.S. studying to Maplestory music is also helpful lol.

    [Reboot] Hey guys recently I hit 20k stat on my lvl 220 Evan. Currently my abso weapon has 2L M.Atk, my emblem has 1L IED 1L M.Atk and my secondary has the same. Should I start going for 3L potentials on everything before I start SF to 18+ stars in the next 5/10/15 event? And should I start with my WSE?

    I do plan on starting to grow my legion and level to 235 with the combo of the umbra and surge event! But just curious how I progress in terms of spending those mesos :)

    Also, should I go for arcane equipment? I have a kanna farmer to get droplets and all but not sure how viable it is to SF compared to abso? Might not be able to handle the stress of booming arcane equipment haha

    [Reboot] Questions for any F/P mages +200 or any I/L mage that job changed

    I currently have lvl 223 I/L mage (12k stat) who can solo up to CRA. I have most of essential boost nodes at lvl 50-60 and a few levels for skill nodes. I have heard that I/L mage was good in terms of mobbing, but F/P is a beast at bossing so I have always wanted to try out F/P. One of the main things I have heard about F/P mage was that enhancing skills takes LOT of nodestones, since they utilize many skills. This kinda put me off playing it, since I don't usually farm on my main, so I will never have like 1000's of nodestones in preparation for F/P mage. But, my mind changed with unending night buff, since I will be able to get a few 100's of nodestones for the duration of the event.

    So my question is do you think it will be okay for me to job change to F/P mage now to take advantage of free nodestones? Or should I wait till higher level? From what I found: F/P mages will need 6 slots for boost nodes alone, and 3-4 skills nodes, in addition to decent sharp eye, holy symbol, etc. Hence, many people were suggesting job changing at least lvl 240, so that you don't suffer from shortage of skill slots.

    Any opinion would be appreciated!

    My pets are still alive after water of life ran out

    I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth here, but I just came back off a couple month long break and two of my three pets on my Kanna are still active even though their water of life should have ran out in April. I haven't risked deactivating them since that will probably fix this, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen?

    Familiar Drop Question

    Just a few questions on the familiar. Would the best familiar 10% item acquisition rate and large item drop card? Or would 2 of the 10% item acquisition be better?

    Does it affect if the large item drop is on the 2nd line? (i have it on my unique familiar), does Large item drop appear on the 1st line on unique familiar?

    Are there any legendary potentials on familiar that is the best for item drop related?

    How does surge exp buff work?

    Hi i'm thinking of switching to surge tomorrow because I want to progress my Legion and I was hoping for some explanations on how the buff works

    If I switch from 1 character who has stacked the buff to another character do the stacks carry over or do I lose them all?

    How long does the buff take to stack? is it every 5 minutes or does it depend on minion kills?

    Also do most people farm for 4hrs straight so they don't lose the buff or do the stacks stay until you use the buff again or reach 50 ?
