    Is it possible to overkill nDamien so hard that he doesn't phase and instead dies in p1? Given that his p1 and p2 shares hp bar

    Or is there a 1 hp limit for p1 to force cutscene transition? And if they don't share hp bar, has anyone overkilled p1 hard enough to show hp bar at 0 either way?

    2X Ursus time - 12 AM PST?

    are there times other than below for ursus 2x?

    UTC: 1:00 AM - 5:00 AM, conversion: 5 pm - 9 pm PST

    UTC: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, conversion: 10 am - 2 pm PST?

    I swear i've been getting ursus 2x messages at 12 am pst or something that makes me think i can't do time conversion

    Thoughts on Aran's Hunter's Prey as a damage source and hyper skills?

    In Reboot if it matters~

    Recently did a ba post Aran buffs, and I think people are aware that Hunter's Prey does a ton more damage, especially when stacked with Blizzard Tempest. A friend and I were talking about the viability of Merciless Hunt (the Hunter's Prey +30% damage boosting hyper skill). I think the recommendation had been

    1) Frenzied Swing (damage buff after smash swing)

    2) Surging Adrenaline (+time on adrenaline)

    3) Beyond-er Blade (BB and FC +damage)

    4) Beyond Blade Barrage (BB and FC +line)

    5) Piercing Beyond Blade (BB and FC +20% IED)

    I'm wondering if dropping the IED from 5) would be worth picking up 30% on HP. BB has passive 30% IED and 20% from boost nodes while FC has passive 50%. At 93% sheet IED, BB would have ~96% and FC would have 96.5% and electing for the IED hyper would leave us at BB with 96.9% and FC with 97.2%. Against a boss with 300% PDR we would be looking at:

    No IED Hyper:

    BB: 11.76% damage reduction

    FC: 10.5% damage reduction

    With IED Hyper:

    BB: 9.41% damage reduction

    FC: 8.4% damage reduction

    So it's a pretty sizable drop in damage, but that drop would shrink the more IED you have. What could we pick up instead?

    Here's a pic of my BA with old hypers, but post skill buff. It represent basically 2 Adrenalines back to back, with 2 HP's used total. During Adrenaline, Hunter's Prey is the 2nd highest source of damage. Anyone who's bossed post Awake will be able to tell you how good it feels to one shot a boss or erase a Lucid bar in one hit. Any one who's bossed post Awake will also be able to tell you how bad it feels to miss with Hunter's Prey or have to save your burst attack for an iframe in Will. This also doesn't take into account the uptime and frequency you can use HP. In bosses like Lucid P1 or Hellux it's pretty easy to get there but Lucid P2 always feels like Adrenaline's are few and far between.

    I'm by no means an expert, just jotting my thoughts down. Aran community, do you think it's worth it to drop 20% ied on BB and FC for 30% on Hunter's Prey?

    [REG SERVER] Looking for advice on progression, best way to upgrade my gear, and meso optimization

    Hi everyone!

    I'm wondering what would be the best way to upgrade my gear while spending my meso efficiently. I'm currently coming back from a break where the meta was different back then so my current armor consists of full CRA/fafnir set and 8 star tyrants. Recently bought a superior gollux belt to accommodate for the superior pendant change. All of these equips are legendary with 2 lines of decent stat, but the bonus pot is rare. I don't think any of my current equips exceed 15 stars. For reference, during training I can one shot mobs in Esfera (not sure if this makes any difference).

    I have a decent amount of funds so upgrading most of my gear (at least to legendary, but maybe not fully scrolling) shouldn't be too problematic. I know that I want to upgrade my weapon to an arcane one, but then I would lose the set effect from my current CRA/Fafnir gear. I know that an arcane weapon would increase my range significantly but at the expense of 30% boss. And the only way to get back the 30% boss is to upgrade my gear to 5 set (cape, shoes, glove, shoulder, hat) absolab, correct? My problem is that I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading to absolab because taking a look at the auction house, so far none of the absolab items (legendary potential with 2L stat) actually show a visual increase in my range. Since absolab is the new meta, I should be aiming for this right? But if it doesn't even increase my range, what's the point? For example, a legendary 2L stat absolab shoe with 17 stars compared to my legendary 2L stat 8 star tyrant boots actually DECREASES my range by several hundred thousand. It seems like it would take a lot of work and mesos, especially since it looks like I'll be spending more and being out-of-pocket to get these new absolab items just to see my range decrease a significant amount. I'm not seeing any gains at the moment. And not to mention I would have to sell the tyrants which can be difficult since their value has diminished. Is all of this worth the effort/mesos? Or am I looking at this the wrong way? Please convince me otherwise because I am feeling from stuck in terms of gear progression.

    Also, would it be better to go arcane wep, root abyss top and bottom, 5 absolab (cape, shoes, glove, shoulder, hat) or do people usually get 3 CRA and 5 abso?

    If I do end up getting absolab gear, is it recommended to use the transfer hammer system to save mesos on star forcing? Would starting from lvl 100 gear and working my way up to abso save me a decent amount of mesos in the long run? Or should I transfer hammer from 140/150 equips? If I go the transfer hammer route, I would have to get my equips to legendary again and that could take awhile (or just wait for DMT?) Or another alternative – should I look for legendary and/or star forced abso gear in the auction house/buy pre-made gear? Again, I want to spend my meso as efficiently as possible.

    I was also looking at a few guides and one of them said I should work my way towards arcane gear instead of abso if my Tyrants already have decent/good stats. Should I look into this as a possibility? Keep my tyrants for now, skip absolab and go straight to arcane gear. A reason I may want to avoid this route is that it would cost a significant amount of mesos to star force (I would probably stop at 12 stars and work my way up to 17 as SF events pop up) arcane gear and it doesn't seem like it's worth the investment in terms of a cost/upgrade ratio. From what I've been reading, it seems like people are able to reach mid to late game bosses with absolab. Again, I have no idea, I am just throwing around some current thoughts.

    With all this thought put into gear progression, you are probably wondering what my goals are? I should probably have one right? Well I've been out of the loop for awhile so I'm not entirely sure…Is easy lucid solo feasible? Or should I aim for normal lucid? Or do people usually do lucid in parties? What are the differences between the two in terms of rewards? Is this feasible or do people usually aim for lomein? Is it enough to turn a decent profit? OR something completely different?

    Coin express for awake?

    I saw kms had coin express during their awake patch(ie complete 1 day u get extra coins, complete all 10days get bonus coins, totalling up to 4k coins i think?)

    The 'hacking culture' in MapleSEA?

    I'm a returning MapleSEA player from years ago and have been playing for a few weeks now, and there is an observation I have made in the high-level maps (ie those with monsters over lv 150).

    There. Are. Hackers. Everywhere.

    Like, goddamn, I just enter a random area, and I see some dude with a name consisting of random numbers and letters flying across the map and all monsters instantly die the moment they spawn. And this is not just an occasional sight, I probably see at least 10 of them per day. Heck, I just logged in and surfed through a few channels to find a burning stage 10 site and I saw FIVE hackers.

    I don't know when has this hacking thing become so pervasive in here, but it sure is ruining the game.

    Dyeable Outfits

    Hi guys! I just wanted to let you guys understand the importance of the tranquil sage outfits that were provided from the coin shop and here it is. A description that states that the outfit can be dyed! One of the very few if not the only costume so far in GMS that lets you dye an outfit. Now I just wanted to make something clear, there hasn't been any items in GMS that lets you dye an outfit just yet (or I haven't witnessed one at least). HOWEVER, Taiwanese servers have provided item dyes to let a good amount of outfits to be dyed. So this leaves Nexon with the possibility to make your outfits more interesting with item dyes. Thoughts? Let me know what you guys think :)

    I've dced like twice today for "suspected hacking" when nothing on my computer has changed. Just happened today randomly when every other day was fine. Was afking in awake when I came back to my computer and saw I dced again for suspected hacking and found out I got a one week ban. Is there any chance I'll get unbanned before the week is up?
