Looking for MapleStory iTCG cards Posted: 10 Nov 2019 08:39 PM PST My 8yo daughter and I have been enjoying the MapleStory card game, and we're on the look out for more cards! We have some of sets 3 - 5, but not much of sets 1 and 2. We're open to any and all cards, because that will allow us to make more decks of course. Does anyone have any cards they no longer want? I did a search for "iTCG" and the posts were a couple years old, so I figured I'd ask with a fresh thread. :) If you have any cards you're looking to part with, please let me know how much you have and what you would like for them. Design elements that look like errors... Posted: 10 Nov 2019 11:17 PM PST I recall Cat's Eye earrings used to noticeably warp characters' faces. At the time, this was the only pair of earrings that did this. Another glitchy-looking design I recall is the Tender Love (I think) face's smile. The smile itself was the traditional smile we became very familiar with, so it was really odd seeing it sit that low on the character's head. I kept thinking this would be patched out, but it remained. I'm a pre-Big Bang Mapler who entertains the thought of someday rejoining, and loves watching Let's Plays and videos on present-day MapleStory. With all the new content that's been added, I'm curious if there are new flawed-looking designs, or if there are some old ones I may have forgotten. :} submitted by /u/90sValentineUndies [link] [comments]

Am i really unlucky or im doing something wrong? (farming nodestones) Posted: 10 Nov 2019 12:41 PM PST I have a cannoneer with 160% drop gear (3M range with that gear), lvl 220 and i farmed at slurpy with kish and 2x drop coupon for 1 hour and I got like 7 nodestones. Are those rates ok? because with my second main without drop gear doing the chu chu pre quest line i got like 3 nodestones in 20 minutes. As some of db skill (phantom blow, etc) gave extra ied And since phantom blow provide 30% ied, 20% additional DEF ignored from hyper skill Does this mean phantom blow got 50% ied in total? Any Maplers from 2006? I am and I’m back after 13 years Posted: 10 Nov 2019 07:08 AM PST Last time I played was in Bera 2009. Played for three years prior. It changed... Looking out for players relative to what I can remember, some names are incomplete: soIntoyou (and her bro forgot name), xxKawaixx, dhd01349(?), Sakura, Lloyd after a decade you guys still linger in my mind and I wonder where you guys are now :) I remember a time when capes were introduced at lvl 50 and they were the coolest thing ever. The community was amazing and so alive it's like a time before they created cellphones lol, more social (I haven't been reimmersed yet, it's day 3 for me) In channel 1 the entire bottom floor of Perion would be so crowded, flooded and laggy with people trading and spamming @@@@@@@ to get their text to be seen above others, spam repeat it until you had a successful trade or someone interested. Same for Henesys (left hand side of the map to trade, right hand side of map to socialize), bottom of Elenia crowded too but not as bad. Crowded in the middle of Kerning there was a quest with crocodiles and collecting cards/passes. The 'steely' was one of the holy grails you wish to find as people would pay for them dearly. It cost 6mil or 4mil to low ball I think, and it was not easy to earn mesos then, apparently even MS has inflation, so fast to earn a million now, it feels good... lol There used to be 2 flying balrogs on the ship from Elinia to orbis station. Remember where we waited before the ship to sail? It felt like an adventure already. And the drop games people would play before take off to show off items (like a steely) and keep people's hopes up, sometimes you would get lucky and pick up that drop from the owner lol I can't remember if El Nath has always existed, but going down the tower was so long back then unless you had a scroll. At the bottom of the tower there was no aqua land yet so... Oh yea, this was before 3rd job and those 3rd job guys at El Nath said nothing for the longest time and NX cash didn't exist yet. 3rd job was the coolest thing ever when it came out, videos like "lvl 113 priest maple story" on YouTube and other players introducing new 3rd job skills to Green Day (song: Holiday), ahhh :) haha Fast forward to when they had a new patch that involved a new map/city Ludibrium or 'LEGO land' and those teddy bears were for lvl 43 ppl if I can recall correctly. Now, jeeze, those teddy bears I trained with now my lvl 105 Bowman. But it is nice to fight with old monsters again. Then they came up with chairs that you carry and sit on and it increases your passive head over time like+50 HP or something, I wonder if that's still around. The storage was not as limited. The only bosses were balrog, balrog with wings, big giant mushroom, big giant slime. People would wait for them to appear and there would always be a handful of people waiting. Now there's so many!
