| I killed myself over 5000 times in a row last night Posted: 16 Nov 2019 10:15 AM PST I'm quitting and wanted to test the auto ban system. Every death had less than 3 seconds between them. I even used a mouse macro to auto click the ok button on the death notification. No auto-ban. Just good luck?

I think by keeping suicide kanna as a bannable offence has left most scared to play/unmotivated to play. There's really no point anymore. I didn't think Nexon could actually screw up this game anymore than it has already. Like it's so annoying when you see this game, that has so much potential, ruined due to the creators carelessness and neglect and preference for its other asian servers - And there's nothing you can do cos the creators do not listen and follow through. I get Nexon thought they could 'save' MS with GMS Reboot but no point now they done did fucked what was supposed to help. And ye ye I get that maybe to some people it's as if nothing has changed, as suicide kanna was a bannable offense then and is still now. But I don't wanna go into byebye station and feel even more freaked out over autobans. How hard is it going to be getting meso without suicide kanna? Can you progress at the same rate? Probably not. Can anybody tell me what other non-KMS content remains in the game? I want to have the opportunity to complete them and receive whatever rewards they may offer before they end up being removed too. | Nexon Launcher failing to install Maplestory, Please help T-T Posted: 16 Nov 2019 10:54 PM PST Got a new computer and am going through another one of my maple phases, except now the Nexon Launcher doesn't want to install Maplestory, never had this problem before. Looked at a whole bunch of posts online and nothing fixed it, if anyone has any other ideas please do, i sent a ticket to Nexon Support and they sent me back an email trying to fix in game performance issues even though that isn't at all what I wrote in my ticket T-T Edit: The installation stops when its at about 30-34% and then an error message pops up saying "This product cannot be installed." forgot to write that in the post originally. | Insane Lag: Is it my computer specs or is it internet issues? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 04:10 PM PST So for starters, it's been probably like 4-5 years since I've played MS and I finally have a PC again so I wanted to hop on and relive some nostalgia. I'm trying to play but the lag time is INSANE. For example, killing enemies, going through portals, or picking up items takes about 10-15 seconds to actually register. I don't expect flawless gameplay but I don't feel like it should be THAT bad. The game itself (i.e. movement, jumping, animations) actually runs pretty smooth, but interacting with everything in a way that needs to connect with the server (i.e. interacting with NPCs, training, portals) is just awful. I'll list my computer specs but I'm not super tech savvy so please forgive me. Specs: (information obtained here)
Edit: Did some internet tests and after using a few different speed tests, the average looks like:

| Posted: 16 Nov 2019 07:31 PM PST I know there are some people who came back from a long hiatus or they decided to never play the game ever again but suddenly want to play it again.. I am one of those players who said would not touch this game again but yet here am I again.. The story just made me come back! Nexon might have issues with managing the game but I am just grateful for the amazing story and plots going there and there. I managed to get back on my feet in less than a year and keep up with what is going on but it was really hard when I did it on my own ... a random guild approached me and invited me to join their guild to learn more in depth how things are. I really appreciate the patience this guild had with me and helped me out with stuff .. the game is indeed much more fun when you have someone to share the experience with! This guys are funny, crazy and such meme addicts I can't even imagine ... I know this post might turn into a very long story but I just want to write this up and maybe there are players who are "ah I am a better solo player" .. trust me.. I was there and quit and came back countless times because.. there was truly nothing much to do. Of course this guys are nerds and we don't geek maple 24/7. We play different games as well togheter. So what I was saying is that I want to turn the favor for those players out there that are .. idk... alone? new? old veterans that came back? [link] [comments] | ||
