    I had my mind set on quitting the game entirely and I had already sold all my Arcane gears. I eventually came to the conclusion that I didn't really care if I boomed the BoD or not. A lot of people had told me I've gone mad xD and in retrospect, I think they were right! I was overcoming some struggles in my life but Maplestory was always a safe haven for me. The universe was really looking out for me in this one and I am so thankful for what I've been blessed with.

    TL;DR - In life it is not about having all that you want. It's about cherishing all that you have! This Libra continues to learn and continues to grow, thank you universe!

    Node Confusion & Class Discords?

    Hi all,

    I've been trying to wrap my head around perfect trios recently but there's a big thing I don't get. I'm playing a Thunder Breaker and from what I've seen online I want Annihilate/Thunderbolt on one tri and Ascension/Thunder on the second. But what I don't understand is why they need to be on the same node like this? Is there any reason that you get Annihilate/Thunderbolt on the same node and Ascension/Thunder on another? Is there a difference if I had Annihilate/Ascension and Thunderbolt/Thunder instead? Sorry if this is confusing, I barely know what I'm talking about haha. Thanks for your help!

    GMS v210 Anticipated Jett changes

    Jett Supreme Enhancement

    Regardless, we are given some sign of the changes in the picture given on the patch preview website. As you can see, a new Jett skill called "Jett Supreme Enhancement" has been added, likely a passive skill.

    Given also that we can see in the graphic that Starline Four has been removed from 4th job, it is likely that we are receiving the precedent update of TMS v219.

    In this update, Starline 4 was removed to become a passive skill that gives 30 attack and 10% final damage. In context of other final damage sources, TMS's Slipstream suit provides 20% final damage, unlike ours which gives 22%.

     

    Other notable changes to Gameplay in TMS v219

    Other changes then that could be expected are the removal of cooldown for Planet Buster (as well as reduction in damage), enormous nerfs to Cosmic Upheaval to become an unreliable skill not worth using, Singularity Shock raised to 30 seconds in cooldown (with damage increase), huge buff to Gravity Crush (however it is still expected to be bugged and only do 5% of it's promised damage). You can jump using Starforce Salvo.

     

    Overall this features a significant change to mobbing patterns as Planet Buster is an extremely reliable skill with it's huge hitbox. It also has the same skill delay as Hero's Enraged Raging Blow at 780ms.

     

    META Bossing Pattern

    Currently to maximize damage Starline One with maxed nodes is the strongest bossing skill, albeit unreliable and unsafe as it has a tiny skill hotbox and also requires +1 attack speed IA. Most opt for using Starforce Salvo. As TMS's Starline Series have slightly different skill delays to ours, I would keep an eye on the skill delays to see if our's changes as well to see if DPM methodology changes.

    Since our battle pattern in bossing situations has not changed in TMS's patch, and if a net increase of 30 attack and 10% final damage is all that is to be expected for direct damage changes, Jett is slated to still be dead last in DPM performance.

    Using https://maplestorydpm.blog.fc2.com/ as a reference to Jett's relative position in performance to other classes in damage per minute, the class would need at least a 60% final damage buff to perform damage similar to other classes with the role of damage dealer. Of course, this is all just conjecture; [ジェット(GMS) is] Jett at 77.79%.

    Starforce Showdown has a master level of 10 in the patch preview graphic. It is currently 5, if this means a doubling of proc rate from 10 to 20% this means that not all changes will be exactly from TMS, and that this makes Salvo most likely the strongest bossing skill.

    In TMS, their Showdown was only increased from 420% to 450%, although their master level is 10... So this can also mean that instead of a 20% proc chance, the skill's scaling was just changed to match their TMS, or in other words, the entire skill was copied and pasted.

    So I came back after over 2 years on a whim on Sunday night. Managed to remember my PiC, logged in happy to see all my toons waiting for me. Been leveling a Demon Slayer, my old main on Khaini, for the Burning event. About to hit 181. Been a blast.

    I've missed a lot, obviously. Anyone point me in the direction of relevant information from the last two years for a returning player? Or give me a tl;dr? Much appreciated.

    Soul Enchanter drop rate/best way to farm

    Title. I've read that the Dark Corthians or whatever in Leafre have the best drop rate, but I've grinded for 30 minutes with a Big Spider familiar and only got 1. Is there any other way to get them efficiently?

    Cash shop and free pet questions

    1. Is the free pet one per account, or one per character? (Probably one per account, but I'd rather ask anyway)
    2. How does "reviving" a pet work? Can you revive the pet you got from the burning event/the free pet?
    3. How do Maple points work, are they character specific or for the account and how are they best spent?

    Best combo class for bossing (help me choose)

    I want to main a combo class since i'm tired of pressing 2 buttons while bossing. My top 3 are Hoyoung, Ark and Mercedes. I don't really like cadena, blaster or TB. So between my top 3 which is my best option for bossing. Thanks in advance!

    Lore question: What exactly is the Arcane River?

    I love the aesthetic of the various areas of the Arcane River, especially Vanishing Journey, but I don't know a lot about it other than the fact that Erda flows in it and the Black Mage is at the end. Can anyone enlighten me about the lore of the Arcane River?

    Is NL still good for 1st character on reboot?

    Im a returning player played gms from way back 2009 is NL is good idea to start reboot server? I will choose reboot server reason i quit gms before was it was P2W upon reading review reboot is kinda lika single player progress but still multiplayer coz you need friends for hard bosses which is awesomeee 😍. Give me your opinion im looking forward to create NL as my 1st and main character on reboot server

    Arcane River & Lachelein Questions

    Hey there!

    I've been trying to look for a guide for all Arcane River dailies, but can seem to find anything that goes past chu chu.

    I know for VJ you have: - Kill Quests x5 (or less depending on progress in river) - Erda Spectrum PQ x3 (or less depending on progress in river)

    And for chu chu it's: - Kill Quests x3 (or less depending on progress in river) - Hungry Muto PQ x3? (or less depending on progress in river)

    Lachelein is: - Dreambreaker Dungeon PQ x3 (or less depending on progress in river)

    Can someone help me complete a list of arcane River dailies. Specifically, are there any daily kill quests for Lachelein? Or is it only Dreambreaker?
