    It really sucks how solo and distant the game is to the point where solo play is encouraged. I don't do bosses with my friends because I want the loot. The only instanced things IIRC are thing like coins and cubes but equips are for 1 person. Instanced loot would encourage more social play and make the game more fun imo. Of course carries will start being more prevelant but they already are.

    I'm starting fresh on GMS reboot (was on Scania for more than a decade) and was leveling my low level character when someone asked me to chat on ardent. My first reaction was : "wow reboot is way more friendly than p2w worlds, people randomly chat with each others !". First message from him : "how are u ?" Directly starting with a personal message got me a little taken aback but why not. After few messages like "are you playing for a long time ?" etc, he asked me for my real name... Ok, I'm playing with my red headed female Bishop character but guys, we are playing fashionstory, don't be fooled by apparences. So I told him my irl name, who cares. That's when he discovered that I have a male name. After being so kind with me, his last message was "You shouldn't be lying" and he left the room.

    Has this ever happened to you ?

    tl;dr : We are playing on reboot, he wants to find a girl, I [M] want to find mates

    Hello! My name is Jason and I'm here recruiting for Tempted! Tempted is an older guild (now in its 13th year) in Scania and we would like to see more members become a part of our family. Below you can find some information about what's in store for you when you join Tempted!

    Level Requirements/Class Requirements: Tempted was founded on the idea that all levels and all classes would be accepted into the guild. However, with the changes to guilds in the RISE update, Tempted will only be accepting members who are level 101 and above.

    Do I have to be a veteran?: No way! You can be a fresh new player who just installed the game and join Tempted! We will do our best to help you through your time in Maplestory and hopefully cause you to have a better experience because of it!

    Tempted's community: In Tempted we are a family. We always have our arms open to anyone who is interested and willing to join our family, but you must be willing to as well. A large group of us talk everyday over Discord and play other games. We ask that anyone who joins the guild to join our Discord server. This is where you will find all information regarding guild events, boss runs, and ways to connect with your fellow guild members.

    What about bossing?: Tempted has active boss runners who are looking to cap guild contribution points daily with fellow members and who regularly do weekly CRA, Lotus, Damien, Lucid, HLucid and Will! We are currently looking for other runners who can participate in weekly end game bosses.

    Helping out newer members: When our teams do their boss runs, we always check to make sure that there is no one who needs any equipment that they cannot buy themselves. In the terms of Hard Magnus, if you are in need of a Tyrant cape, our members will be more than happy to work with you in obtaining one. Our runners run daily - talk to one of them and they will help you out!

    Activity?: We ask that all members be as active as possible. We are a forever evolving guild and are looking to continue growing and evolving in the future. We ask that members contribute as much as possible to the overall guild point ratings of the guild by leveling up and bossing with your fellow guild members. We ask that after the RISE update our members participate in weekly GPQ runs, flag races, and, as often as possible, daily check-ins.

    Secondary characters?: Please talk to the guild manager upon joining about a secondary character.

    How do I join?: Joining Tempted is easy! All it takes is getting in contact with one of our jrs or posting your information below. If you contact anyone in game make sure you tell them what your messaging of them pertains to. Additionally, you can also buddy me (the leader) if I am not on when you contact me. A list of our jrs will be at the end of this notice. You may also request to join the guild through the guild menu in game and we will accommodate you as quickly as we can. If the guild is full do not hesitate to talk to someone about finding a spot for you! Alternatively, there are other members listed below who will help you with getting in contact with a jr.

    Discord: Tempted has its own Discord channel! We ask that everyone in the guild be a part of the Discord server. In the server we host events in which you can win games, NX, and more. Here you can connect with your fellow guild members outside of Maplestory and join them in playing League of Legends, Super Smash Bros, ETC.

    Alliance: Tempted is allied with the Origins Alliance! This alliance consists of Gallant, Echelon and Tempus!

    Did anyone get over 26 Gollux coin since last maintenance?

    I used to get 25-30 Gollux coins after clear Hellux, but after last maintenance the max I can get is 26. Asked my friends they all maxed at 26. So wondering if anyone get over 26 coins recently? Hope it's not a secret nerf by Anna.

    Is cannon shooter viable with just attack speed of 2?

    I logged on today to my old account that used to be in Windia and found hot summer coins, a motorcycle mount, a map of the old phantom forest, a trophy, and some other old items. I know quite a few people have come back because of everything being closed down right now, and with staying at home. I've been debating whether or not to come back, or to play casually, and I'm not sure yet. I played in Windia and Scania, and I really enjoyed all of the years on and off I've played Maple, but I've always taken a break/quit since I felt this game took a lot of time to invest into.

    What is it about this game that keeps you playing? Are you a new player, or returning? Also, what are some of your favorite memories from old Maple?

    So Hoyoung and Ping? How do they fair?

    So playing from OCE sort of limits the characters I can play, which really sucks. DW and Kinesis look so damn cool :(. So I tend to look around on whether the next class I want to play is ping reliant.

    Anyone knows if Hoyoung is ping reliant? Kit seems really interesting. If it helps I'm playing NA Reboot on about 190-200 ping.

    If no suggest a class I should try out :D open to any suggestions.
