    I restarted maplestory around the time that everyone started staying at home. And because I was really intrigued by the concept of the reboot server, I abandoned my old characters and started fresh in reboot.

    But there was massive influx of new/returning players around the same time, and I constantly would have trouble logging in due to servers being full, or channels crashing, or just not being able to find any map to grind on.

    And then Nexon started pulling through with the familiar "revamp", the gollux "rework", and the "brilliant" start to the pixel event. Immediately I saw results, maps started clearing up, of course all the bars on every channel would still be completely filled, but I only got server full message around reset time. But this was nothing compared to the memo drop a few days ago.

    I havent had the server full message since the memo, and even at reset time, I can see some channels not being full. Nexon has done the impossible, turn away bored-at-home, nostalgia-ridden fans in a time of little entertainment and work.

    And now that the game has nothing but us masochists, I can finally grind in peace.

    I started off in Bera about 2 months ago and with the help of a friend, managed to get to 226(520 AF able to solo up to CRA/Hmag) and have 4.3k legion and on track for 6k. The only problem is that I started off as a Nightlord, but now I want to switch to a Kaiser. Should I just stop investing resources into my NL or keep going until I can solo LoMien? I was thinking about starting my Kaiser during the RISE Tera Burn, but I have a feeling I will not have enough resources by then. So how should I go about switching mains?

    Edit: LoMien as a goal so I can get Abso set by myself. Not a fan of getting carries.

    Where to get a Yellow Adventurer Cape [Reboot]

    Does anyone have a clue where I could get a YAC in Reboot?

    I've farmed over 40000 Ghost Bands for the Faito Trade Quest and I didn't get anything but food. Even the other know \* rewards (arrows and ores) seem not to be part of the reward pool anymore.

    I sent a ticket for Nexon about this item and the Faito Trade Quest and here's their reply: "We can confirm that the said items are still in-game and there are no current issues with it, however, we are unable to disclose any other information about this and we highly encourage that you discuss this with other players in-game or on our Official Forums."     As I'm trying to optimize my WSE for my NL, I noticed that there are some different results when using these two calculators, created by u/jeffrey562 and u/Masterobert respectively.

    Just wondering holding all else equal, why is there quite a significant difference in terms of the results? If I were to face a boss with 300% PDR, which of the "rank 1" results will optimize my FD the most?

    Frenzy totem makes me want to quit this game.

    And these new upcoming changes just make it worse.

    It didn't bother me when Kishin was a comparable as a f2p option (kanna mule) I could work for. When they nerfed it and it was sour, but I dealt with it. These upcoming changes mean they are going to slowly nerf it or remove it

    Yet they leave frenzy totem alone

    Do you know how frustrating playing this game is selling my Hard von Leon boss Crystal's for 2.4m then seeing B> frenzy svc 30m cast/120hr smegas all the time?

    These people make my daily maple income in the cast of one ability. It's ridiculous and now even I find myself buying service occasionally because there really is no alternative

    They won't make it attainable again, they cost over five thousand on markets(not to mention the risk of scams etc) so everyone who has one is already set for maple life and everyone else has to line frenzy owner pockets or risk illegal activities

    There are people making more than most actual jobs just selling frenzy service

    It's so frustrating and disheartening and while I suffer from a bit of sunken cost fallacy; having to buy another hour of fz so I can farm at arcana at a decent drains me a little each time and I am most likely going to quit this game soon despite how much I enjoy the actual core gameplay

    They couldve left kishin alone, nerfed both kishin and frenzy at the same time, or even left frenzy attainable so that the prices wouldn't astronomically high(still high but not like now)

    Instead they nerf the free2play option, give us grindy RP based totems and leave the p2w completely alone for three years or whatever on top of making it unattainable

    I know no one really cares about quitting posts(and I'm not quite there yet) but I wonder, does anyone else hate this item as much as I do

    My buddies and I got into a discussion recently, and this is very subjective obviously. We are fairly new, so your opinions might be more interesting.

    Essentially, which class looked boring from the outside, but the design and kit was so interesting, that you can't help but love grinding on it.

    On the sadder side which class seemed fun or super cool but ended up being a letdown, because the gameplay wasn't how you imagined?

    Give us your classes and reasons why!

    We thought Mechanic and Illium seemed awesome from the outside, but they are both quite the letdown. Mechanic seems like it should be this big unstoppable tank instead it's a feels like you're playing a scientist in a lab coat. Illium feels like it should be a mystical advanced alien tech warrior, but it's like a soccer ball goalie simulator.

    Is there any way to reduce lag, Disconnects and Crashes

    Which stat is most expensive at Bera? Been seeing INT to be most expensive, STR next, then maybe DEX and LUK. I wanted to see if I got that fact checked correct and also why that is so.
