    Nexon Trying to Scam Players Again - "New" Male Royal = OLD Regular Amoria Haircut

    The most recent CS update ( http://maplestory.nexon.net/news/54149/cash-shop-update-for-november-20 ) introduced a "New" male royal haircut called "Eternal Elegance" that looks awfully familiar... OH WAIT! It was a hair that you could get with VIP/reg hair coupons from Amoria (which was conveniently removed) and was also obtainable during the most recent random beauty coupon event.

    I cannot believe how underhanded and greedy this company is. To remove an area with their respective haircuts and then to try to reintroduce the same trashy haircuts as "new" royals is disgusting. It really shows the lack of effort on their end and how much of a money grab they are willing to make with their player base.

    EDIT: You were able to get them through VIP or Reg Coupons

    Hoyoung Arcane Umbra Weapon Boxes

    [Updated November 19] If you reach Lv. 200 to Lv. 250 on your Hoyoung character, you will receive valuable rewards we have prepared for you in the next update! Event is available for both Reboot and Non-Reboot worlds.

    If you reach Lv. 250 on your Hoyoung, you will receive Arcane Umbra Weapon Box: Tradeable within account.

    You can select one Arcane Umbra weapon with 15 Star Force, Legendary, Damage +12%, Boss Damage +35%, Critical Rate +12%, Spell Trace 30% applied. Soul can be equipped.

    Bonus Stats can be reset. Potentials cannot be reset and item cannot be enhanced.

    Basically same thing as the absolab weapons that they gave out in prior events.

    edit: They changed the bonus stat line from Bonus Stats can be reset for Non-Reboot worlds to just Bonus Stats can be reset. Guess reboot gets to flame them after all. They also updated it to Say Damage instead of Crit damage. Imagine a weapon giving 12% crit damage!

    Hi guys,

    I was trying to re-download maplestory since its that one game you play once a year at some point (lol) and ran into this error. Every time I enter my pin, I immediately get booted to the world pick screen with the message "Unable to connect to the game server. Please try again later."

    Does anyone by chance know what I should do?

    So I was trying to sign up for the kart rider beta, but I kept receiving an error message. I tried logging in to MapleStory to see if it works and it kept disconnecting as soon as I logged in. Has my account been banned or is it just a bug?

    Hello folks, i have 2 friends that cannot log in into maple after SEVERAL tries, they can finally Login, but entering cash shop, CC or AH give them DC.

    This started after Fabled melody patch.

    Using SAME laptop on a Public WIFI or Library internet they can play totally fine.

    Laptop already formated

    new installation (this like 3 times).

    is there any solution, this seems to be a weird problem both have different ISP's 1 of them is in my city so i cant figure it out.

    Whats going on with Suicide Kannas?

    I'm a long time on and off player of Maplestory and have been on the Reboot server since it's launch but I never committed enough to fund and gear my main character until recently, not even hitting 200 on a single character until March of this year. I am aware that people have been getting banned by using Suicide Kannas to stay at the optimal level to Meso farm at ByeBye station. What I am wondering specifically is what is causing these bans? I know that people constantly spamming suicides to bring their EXP down have been banned for suspicious activity of that, that resembles a botter's, but what is stopping someone from spacing our their suicides to lets say a few a day or such? I realize that it would drastically slow down the effectiveness of a Suicide Kannas meso farming but I see tons of people saying Nexon has completely stopped Suicide Kannas altogether. Thank you in advance for any information provided on what exactly is causing these bans and I apologize for my lack of education on this matter.

    MapleSEA Arcaneshade Weapon Box

    So the afk 3 hours daily Po Po event gives an Arcaneshade Weapon Box at 80 cumulative boxes. Anyone got any info on any details? Is it clean? 70% traced? Fixed pot? It seems too good to be true so I'm guessing that the weapon is probably a nerfed version of the arcaneshade weapon and that maybe a decent absolab might be better. In which case, there's no point trying to get it.

    Noob questions about Phantom

    Hello everyone, I've decided to conquer my anxiety and tera burn a phantom for the link skill and as a legion mule, and I have a few questions about their skills and training them. My first question is how bad is it going to be if I don't steal any skills and rely solely on Phantom skills for training (shy+ Elysium= forever alone. I avoid crowded places like the plague).... If its going to be an absolute nightmare, then I think I'm going to try and follow dexless' guide on their skills:

    1st job dark sight, energy bolt and haste

    2nd job rage, heal, bless and hyper body

    3rd job holy symbol, cross surge and arrow blaster

    4th job final cut and I think I will try to find cannon bazooka, for some reason I don't have very fond memories of showdown /:

    I also remember when Pathfinder first came out, their skills were really good for phantom but they changed how PF skills work, so it is not worth to steal anymore. Is it still correct?

I was planning on working on a few mules/sides as well for coins like I did in the summer event, dunno if I can do it in the remaining month though

    (reboot) should I tera burn a kanna?

    I already have my main, the only "farmer" I have is a bye bye kanna, was told that it's helpful to have a nodestone farmer and I can farm with a kanna lategame. Would it still take a long time to get decent rates? Are there optimal maps I can farm on at every level? should I just stick with bye bye and roll a dice?

    About tera burning reward boxes

    Is there any time limit on the perm CRA boxes before you open them? Cuz if they only expire when tera burning ends then I will want to wait rather than making a char immediately when the new update goes up, since I'm a student and I will have more time to play during winter vacation (which doesn't start until almost Christmas)

    I'm not too sure about this, as I remember rushing to make my Evan lvl200 before my boxes expire in the last event... is it possible that the boxes might expire before the event ends if I make my char too early?
