Mechanical Hearts Wondroid Season 2 Quest Walkthrough

    Posted: 06 Feb 2020 12:18 AM PST

Since I've already complied data for Season 1, I might as well post the information for Season 2. I'm quite sure many have already completed Season 2. But hopefully this will help others have a guide along Season 2.

Looking for Season 3 Guide? Click here! made by u/heartwithseoul

Looking for Season 1 Guide? Click here!

    Notes

    • Completing Season 1 is required to unlock Season 2.
    • Season 2 is much shorter than Season 1 and if done right can be completed under a day.
    • Season 2 can be accessed in the Season 1 Hideout. Under Event Star Icon, Aspire Icon, [Mechanical Hearts] The Great Escape.
    • Most of the storyline will be dialogue.
    • 2 entries into Investigation Mode is required.
    • No entries are needed for Rescue Mode in order to complete Season 2.
    • There are no additional quests such as dailies that unlock after completing Season 2 as of v.211 - Mechanical Utopia.
    • There are no additional Wondroids added to Season 1 Rescue Mode.

Unfortunately since we have to run Rescue Mode twice as part of the story, some bugs from Season 1 shall re-appear as well.

Bugs (as of Feb 4th, 2020)

    • As stated in other threads, dying too many times in Rescue Mode for any season could potentially softlock you from reviving due to the lack of a revive prompt.
    • In Rescue Mode the vent in B4 may not be working. Exit the mission, change channels and try again.
    • In Rescue Mode when the elevator is moving there is a chance you can clip through it and fall. Wait until the elevator stops before proceeding.
    • In Rescue Mode between doorways and barriers is a gap where you or the Wondroid can fall through when not teleported back up. Try not to hold the Wondroid or getting knocked back by monsters when near doorways or barriers.
    • Instancing may be capped in Rescue Mode which softlocks players when attempting to enter via staircase to the next area, commonly towards B1. Continue to attempt entering the portal.

For a reminder the following is applied to Rescue Mode:

    • Skills and Pets are restricted.
    • Death traps include: Lasers, spike walls, and steam vents.
    • Interactions include: buttons (mouse-clicking), pressure buttons (standing), and vents (basic attack).
    • Monsters include: Camkitten, Aspire Security Guard, Aspire Engineer, and Guardroid Model 13. Defeat them with basic attacks.
    • Unlike Season 3, checkpoints within each area of Season 1 are halfway of the map or the staircase, so if you fail or die you'll be moved back to the last checkpoint.
    • Failing at the start of B4 will end your run.
    • Logging out can also potentially end your run. (not sure how this works)
    • The B1 checkpoint is when you reach the right-side map portal, pressing up before walking back to the left portal.
    • Failing at ground floor will warp back to the staircase checkpoint.
    • Each Stage in Rescue Mode has a limit of reward EXP up to 5 times per day.
    • Unlike Rescue Mode in Season 1, no Aspire Commemorative Coins are rewarded upon Rescue Mode completion.

    Shop Notes (Season 2)

    • The same shop in Season 1 has the items for Season 2 and require Aspire Commemorative Coins to purchase said items.
    • Season 2 completion is required to buy their respective items: Adam Wondroid, Eve Wondroid and Can't Live Without You Chair.

    [Reboot] Hellux Gem Range?

    Posted: 05 Feb 2020 08:10 PM PST

Im currently lv 208 Pathfinder with 1.2m range, 78% ied and 120% boss dmg

I always thought hellux needs about 3m range or something
but today Ive just tried out hellux today and surprisingly realized that i can kill jaw in ~4mins and can probably kill eye in another ~4mins
but died to the eye phase cuz i was kinda shitty at mechanics.

I havent gotten to the gem phase, but would that be much harder than the previous phases?

Is Wondroid even worth the trouble?

    Posted: 05 Feb 2020 05:18 PM PST

Playing on Reboot and I completed S3 on my main, but my will to go any further or do this on my other characters is REEEEALLY low. To be blunt, this event is wack as fuck and extremely unfun to play through.

Is this shit really that worth it?

    Yet another question about Wondroid.

    Posted: 06 Feb 2020 01:33 AM PST

So I just finished the quest line and I remember reading that you can get 40 chips per day but Phoebe only has two quests: The Remaining Threat and Former coworkers. The rewards for these two quests is only 30 chips. How do you get the other ten?

    [Reboot] aloraroid worth it?

    Posted: 06 Feb 2020 12:21 AM PST

I already own a heart and asteroid from previous event. Just wondering if it is worthwhile getting the new androids for +5wa? I suck at JQ so it might be a significant time investment

Question about aloraroid and it's heart

    Posted: 05 Feb 2020 09:54 PM PST

So I finally got enough coins farming via investigation mode to purchase a wonderoid heart and now I want to use my s3 coins to purchase an android and noticed that the aloraroid/skyroid androids come with a buff and mini general store perk at an additional 200 coins compared to the other androids.

The problem is that every other android says it's operated with a wonderoid heart whereas the aloraroid/skyroid says it's operated with an android heart.

The question is that does the wonderoid heart work on those two androids? if it doesn't where does one get an android heart? was it just a typo on nexon america's part?

Mysterious Object in New Leaf City

I was messing around in NLC when I found this object at the top of the mini map. Was curious as to what it was and decided to jump on it. Turns out you can even stand on it. But the real question is, what the heck is this thing anyway? Did anyone else notice this?

    WTF is this?

(Normal Server) Returning Wind Archer Seeking Advice!

    Posted: 05 Feb 2020 07:57 PM PST

Hey everyone, I'm a lv 205 Scania Wind Archer with 1.4-1.6 mil range clean, 202% boss damage, & 84% IED. Also, I have SoH boost nodes to lv 41, Trifling Wind lv 41, & Howling Gale lv 18 if that helps any.

I'm currently wondering a few things:

How much range, IED, and/or Boss Damage would I need to Solo Bosses? (Specifically CRA, and Hard Magnus ... I can solo HHilla just fine in about 5 mins & Hellux if played right in about 5-10min)

What how can I bump up my range even MORE? (I prefer free to play, but paying is no problem - please include average price to do so if possible)

If I were to use lv 1 Decent HS + 2x EXP coupon, where would I level up (grinding) the fastest? Any rates/quotes on time? Not sure where to train - currently have just been gaining exp doing dailies in Vanishing Journey.

Any tips on IED improvement? (Yes I have Leafre Codex + lv 120 Lumi, but I'm not exuberant about leveling him to 210 because I'm not even sure how to get to 210. This is my highest lv character)

Please refrain from catty answers, I'm truly trying to progress so I may be able to fund myself with new players in the future. Looking for detailed answers and truly helpful tips! Leave discord info if you need more info!

Thank you and happy mapling :)

Newbie question about cash shop update

    Posted: 05 Feb 2020 10:54 AM PST

Hey, I started playing Maplestory a week ago, and I realized that for everyweek, there was a cash shop update with different hair & face every week. However when I checked today's update, they have the same hair as last week's? Is it not supposed to change everyweek? How does it work?
