List of buffs and game improvement/bug fix Beast Tamer should get Posted: 29 Mar 2020 10:38 AM PDT Hello guys! As you have seen, for those players who main/submain Beast Tamer or tried to level it for legion/link, you can notice that since the huge buff she received this September 2019 she becomes more playable now with every animal damages being buffed and some additional passive effects. But by doing so, Nexon forgot to change how the 5th job skill Champ Charge actually work. There are also more things that should be addressed, changes on certain skills to do even higher HPS (hits/lines per second), on boosted nodes, general game play and some fixing bugs. Also thought to add Lv190 hyper skill which is very unique as it will give different effects depending from which animal mode you activate it! Here is the list of suggestions below and tell me what you think everyone: Beginner tab: 1- Show all sharable passives on stat UI on any mode. There is a bug which passive skills from different animal than you currently use aren't showing on Stat UI. On client side, the damage seen on screen is being reflected by stat UI info, so Battle Analysis. So, what is being seen is not the true damage. However, other players can see real damage which is higher. 2- Allow certain skills Master Level to be surpassed with Combat Order/Decent Combat Order/+1 All Passive Skill Level inner ability, nothing else. Bear: (bug: Inability to keep Bear Assault buff without right-click current animal mode icon when switching mode while you can for Cat mode buffs) -Paw Swipe + Furious Strike: Changing system so we are not forced to keep tapping, we should now hold the key instead. It might not be doable if we must press on Attack command, so it may be better to drag Paw Swipe skill icon into key setting to make this easier if anything. -Paw Swipe: First 3 hits, Damage: 420 > 210% and Number of Attack: 1 > 2 -Furious Strike: Extra Paw Swipe Damage: +100% > +50% due to increase of Number of Attack -Majestic Trumpet: Add mention of Cooldown Time: 5 seconds (forgot to be added on skill description) Possible bug on skill which if we ignite another fire at exact same spot as one already created, this previous fire created plus new ignition will both disappear or at least a part of new fire touching the first one will be gone. Only first fire should disappear! -Deep Breath + Really Deep Breath: Making these skills like Leopard Thunder Dash and Advanced Thunder Dash which the second skill takes place of the first one if a SP is applied to Really Deep Breath. If one SP is applied into second skill, on Deep Breath skill description, it should have mention ''Really Deep Breath Enhancement Status''. There is one more explanation further in text, in Nodes section. -Fort Follow-Up: Additional Damage: 825% > 415%; Number of Attack: 1 > 2. There is a need to see if we should change activation rate for every 3rd hit instead of 4th hit. Possible bug: Skill not being triggered if we slightly move to sides while spamming Furious Strike. -Defense Ignorance: Passive %IED: 30% > 40%. Attack speed remains same (+2) -Li'l Fort: Bear Damage: 1900% > 950% Adding mention of Number of Attack on description. Number of Attack: 1>2. Change Duration so it can be affected by %Summon Duration. Bear Duration: 60seconds > 70 seconds. Icon on top of screen should be shown to show Bear Duration left. -Bear Assault: Remove Passive Enemy DEF Ignored of 20% to apply the change on Defense Ignorance. -Fishy Slap: Increase hit box and maybe enlarge spin animation to match with new hit box. Start the cooldown time as the player activates the skill, not after the animation ends. -Table Flip: Damage: 700% >560% Number of Attack: 8 > 10 Possible Cooldown Reduction Snow Leopard: -Macho Dance: Enlarge the skill hit box to match a little more the diagonal movement. -Bro Attack: Level 1: Summon Chance: 1% > 6% and Level 15: Summon Chance: 15% > 20%. Cooldown removal, anyways it hits 0 second cooldown at max level and summon duration is way longer. -Three-Point Pounce: Number of monster hits: 10 > 12 -Lethal Lai: Built in Enemy DEF Ignored removed as we already have a high source of the stat from Leopard Reflexes. -Leopard Reflexes: Possible decrease of Enemy DEF Ignored if we can actually show the stat into Stat UI on another animal mode for the reason it can be shared through all modes, intended or not, as 60% IED seems a bit high. -Party Time: Decrease casting delay furthermore. Bird: (bug: inability to keep any Active buff without right-click current animal mode icon when switching mode while you can for Cat mode buffs) Possibility to reduce certain skill Master Level -Formation Attack: Increase range by 15% and number of monster hits: 3> 5 -Raptor Talons: Cooldown removal because it has 0 second cooldown at max level, so possibility to put the skill in pet auto buff. -Defensive Formation + Baby Bombers: Should not make boss type enemy immune these skills and it doesn't seem doing much DPS anyways. Cat: -Meow Card: Cooldown reduction should affect the skill Blue Card effect: Additional +50 all stats and +30 weapon/magic attack Hyper Skill: -REMOVED Formation Attack: Spread due to additional number of monster on original skill -NEW Formation Attack: Extra Strike: Number of Attacks: +1 -REMOVED Three-Point Pounce - Spread due to additional number of monster hits on original skill. -NEW Three-Point Pounce – Cooldown Cutter: Cooldown -100%, so it can greatly helps Beast Tamer player for training in very large maps mainly in Tenebris -Addition of Lv190 Hyper Skill: No idea how it can be called... While activated, for 30 seconds, Cooldown: 90 seconds, each animal will receive a unique buff depending of the current mode and gives +100 Magic Attack on any mode: Bear: Ignore first 3 hits of Paw Swipe in Bear Mode to directly use Furious Strike. It can be extremely useful in some bossing situation. Snow Leopard: Ignore Leopard's Paw to directly use Leopard's Pounce and Leopard's Roar. Bird: Increase Formation attack range furthermore and increase number of monsters hits Cat: Continuously increase party member HP and MP while on Cat Mode for 10 seconds 5th job + Boosted Nodes: 5th job: -Champ Charge: Since the buff in September 2019, with so many skills being changed for better overall DPM increase, this skill no longer does enough damage to be comparable with Furious Strike and some other skills. I think that all this skill animation should be casted periodically on its own after selecting the animal for the final hit while player keeps attacking with other skills. With this animation and casting change, the skill damage on every hit should considerably be lowered and its animation speed should be increased by a ton. Possibility of each type of Final Attack to give short burst buff duration or to ignore certain Abnormal Status depending of animal, can keep Cat buff thought (no idea if it actually works for %HP Dmg). Bear final attack buff: For 10 seconds, give additional 30%Final damage to self and party member, must be additive with Bear Assault if activated so it won't be a 30% DPS increase. Snow Leopard final attack buff: For 15 seconds, give party member additional Attack Speed, increase of Max Movement Speed by a lot and more movement speed. With Lai Agility power, it should ignore Slow and Weakness abnormal status. Bird final attack buff: For 20 seconds, baby birds on defensive formation in order to protect party members from being blocked (Sealed). Cooldown: possible increase -Aerial Relief: Level 25: periodically attacks 34 times, Damage: 900% >600% Number of Attack: 8 > 12 (or either 720% skill damage and 10 attacks) Boosted Nodes: -Paw Swipe: Add mention Furious Strike can be affected -Deep Breath: Now Really Deep Breath will be affected -REMOVED Really Deep Breath because being affected by boosted Deep Breath -NEW Majestic Trumpet to replace Boosted Really Deep Breath -Leopard's Paw: Add mention of Leopard's Pounce + Leopard's Roar -Thunder Dash: Add mention of Advanced Thunder Dash and Thunder Trail. Fix bug which only Thunder Trail is affected by the boosted node. -Macho Dance: Add mention of Macho Slam -Possibility of Bro Attack, Defensive Formation and Baby Bomber being affected by existing nodes instead of creating even more boosted nodes??? Special Notes, how to improve game play: -Possibility of Furious Strike being its own skill regardless not just on hyper skill activation so it hurts arm less XD -Giving Invincibility Time from moment Aerial Relief starts dealing damage, so a while after it starts being casted, allowing player to move freely, maybe 1 second duration. It can already ignore physical damage on whole casting duration. - Bug: Inability to keep any active buff from Bear and Bird modes without right-click current animal mode icon when switching mode while you can for Cat mode buffs. We are both pretty active players and looking to grind the game and get to the end game content and equips.
