Kanna buffing bug Posted: 15 Apr 2020 02:30 PM PDT ​ https://reddit.com/link/g217al/video/i12qbqtnr1t41/player I have 792k range clean and 965k range when buffed with haku and akatsuki warrior. When I'm buffed I can comfortably one shot (one shot as in one rotation of shikigami haunting) blazing erdas and stone erdas (0:20 to 0:50). When unbuffed one rotation brings them down to around 1/5 health (0:50 to 2:00). I noticed something weird when grinding, it seems like after I remove my buffs and I rebuff, even though my range increases (2:00 to 2:15) the actual damage I'm doing isn't back to the same level as normal, as I am no longer able to one shot the mobs after rebuff (2:20 to 3:00). It's as if I never buffed again in the first place. Even more weird is if I change channels, then it's as though my buffs are applied again and I can once more one shot the mobs (3:00 to 3:50). For anyone saying that it's too close to call, believe me when I say I tested this extensively and there is a definite difference. The changing channels is what makes me really think this isn't normal. I did some more testing and it turns out that if I wait out the buffs until they time out naturally(not manually removing them) and then rebuff, I have the same problem. Its also as if I never buffed in the first place. I have to constantly refresh my buffs before they expire in order for the effects to apply (to be able to consistently one shot the mobs). This means I have to change channels every time I do a boss, and I have to keep my buffs on 24/7 while training or I lose efficiency or change channels and risk losing my spot. The scariest thing about this is I'm not sure when this problem is applied in situations where your buffs are removed by the game (Mu Lung, Ursus etc). I also wouldn't have even noticed this if I hadn't just gotten to the point where I was able to one shot the mobs in the Extinction zone. TLDW/TLDR; If you remove buffs or time out buffs and then reapply them, even though your range numbers are what they should be, for some reason the actual damage you're doing isn't what is expected; it's as if you were never buffed in the first place. If you change channels this fixes the problem once, but if you time out again in that channel the same problem will occur. Dark Knight Damage Range Posted: 15 Apr 2020 07:48 PM PDT I am playing in reboot just to begin~ Does anyone know what damage range I should have at around level 179? I just started playing for the first time with my gf and my current damage range is roughly 122k-132k unbuffed and 230k-255k buffed. It's so far been enough to deal with the bosses we've had to deal with (haven't fought Pink Bean yet if that gives you an idea). I'm just curious if I'm behind the curve at the moment since I feel like I am. My girlfriend btw is basically just playing dedicated Bishop for me which is really nice! I don't know how relevant that information is but I'm just adding it in just in case it is. I see a lot of people say I need to be reaching the 1m+ range to do the coming bosses we want to take on and I'm not sure how to reach that range. I'm guessing it's the gear I'm lacking the stats on atm. I have full Pensalir starred to 10 stars each. I don't have any good rings (I didn't even know there were events happening in this game. I'm a total spazz) and I'm not sure if my weapon is even any good rn. I have the Mystic Eye, Earrings, and Face accessories at 10 stars each so far. Here's a ss with the character stats so you can see where I'm at. Any help would be really appreciated! 1st is unbuffed, 2nd is only my buffs, 3rd is with Bishop buffs as well If you also want my gear stats i can post that as well. Most of them do not have potential however. My Utgard Spear has a unique potential but it increases my DEX by 9% so not too useful I'm guessing. I was told that the classes really come online at level 200 after the 5th job is acquired so that's my current goal. I also only have one other character; a level 80 Mercedes if that helps with anything? I was thinking of grinding out a Kanna and Demon Avenger for the upcoming burning (?) event that's coming. Kanna because I was told she will help me farm more meso and a Demon Avenger because it looks really cool and the link skill gives more damage. Can I even reach 1m+ damage range by level 200 as I currently am or is that going to be a bit too ambitious without specialized gear? I also have a personal goal of reaching floor 50 of the Mu Lung. I can barely reach floor 17 right now lmao~ Additional question from my girlfriend for her Bishop class: What hyper stats should she focus on? What should her damage range be at level 179? What gear should she be going for right now or is the Pensalir gear okay? Our Current Bosses (Easily Doable) Normal Zakum Balrog Easy Magnus Normal Hilla Easy Papulatus Bosses We Cannot Seem To Beat Or Haven't Tried Arkarium (screw this boomer and his instant kill moves) We haven't really tried any other bosses. However i was unaware (my own fault), that the contribution limit was per day per world instead of per day per character. Now im currently on 980/2000 with today already used. This means according to my calculations i will end with 1980/2000 on the last day. Starting to play again Posted: 15 Apr 2020 11:32 PM PDT Hey, i just finished re-downloading maple, and obviously alot has changed. First question, can i get back my old characters? Im currently sitting at the world selection screen, and i cant remember how log in works. Do i have to choose the world that my original character was in? (Or now world conglomerate i guess) And if i cant get my character back what world would you reccomend i restart in? The home screen is reccomending elysium, but idk if thats just because is empty and they wanna build it up or something. And i find it funny they dont reccomend the reboot world? Or is that a world at all? Im gonna do some exploring, but i appreciate anyone who takes the time to answer any of my questions, or if you wanna leave any other restart advice! Edit: okay found characters, all is good. But the UI is kind of weird, and I don't see how to change it in UI settings in game.
