    It took 5 years, but I finally cleared Tower of Oz as a Marksman

    I started running Tower of Oz around 6 years ago, slowly working my way towards Dorothy. Back then, with the known strategies of the time, and 400m cap 1-line snipe, it was impossible to clear as a Marksman. One of the lowest points in my life is when this forced me to switch to a Bowmaster in order to clear.
    Because this content was so new in 2014, less than a dozen Koreans had cleared it, and there was very little information online. It took me several months to learn the stages as a Marksman, and several more months to re-learn them as a Bowmaster (on top of making a new weapon/secondary).

    Five and a half years later, I finally cleared as a Marksman! Thanks to the guides and knowledge of u/21337ninja and u/Masonym, it was quite easy to clear from a fresh account (sort of - this is the same account as iCrossBoIt. The first character in Reboot on this account was created on March 30th, 2020). It took fewer than a dozen runs to unlock my 4th pill slot, and 1 attempt once it was unlocked. God bless 9f and 36f changes.

    I encourage more people to view Tower of Oz as something fun to do, instead of leaving immediately on 42f. Maybe you'll enjoy it more than you think!

    So the pixel event is going to end around tomorrow but when exactly is it going to end. The game kind of resets around 5pm for me so is it right to assume that it will end around that time too?

    Hi all so sorry if this is a long post or something does not make sense I don't go into details enough etc.

    In this, I'm just trying to explain for returning players how to do a quick and dirty way to turn your old byebye kanna into a current semi-viable meso farmer.

    <<for newer players without a bye-bye etc you will probably need 2b+ which can be obtained easily from buying prepaid nx > normal servers> maple points > using those points on reboot for 7x maple tour a day sorry this guide is more for old byebye kannas>>

    So first step's first is the 123% meso gear which you should already have from your old bye bye set up so next is getting to level 200 - 205. DO not level past 205 until you feel you have the range / AF to do so.

    I was not going to release this but with adele coming up kanna nerf etc why not it's going to be way overpopulated anyways.

    Here are my rates at FES2 with 113% meso over leveld for the zone and NO drop % [with/without wealth potion ](https://imgur.com/a/Fv0ODea

    As you can see even with me messing up progression if done properly 300m+ an hour is available at level 200+ kanna though meso gear and damage is required this is an EASILY obtainable setup.

    With the proper rotation level and 123% meso gear it would be way more especially if you could get 80% drop so a bag could drop every time. Mind you those rates I'm showing are with 10% meso then a normal kanna at old byebye.

    To obtain this is not that hard but with the upcoming kishin nerf I'm not sure how this would be affected. I'm leaving this method now because of how Kanna farming has and is probably going to change some more.

    Especially for those that are lower leveled /links / legion It might be harder but I think a [setup]( https://imgur.com/a/KG4YnXF ) goes like this.

    While this could be done in many different in many ways even just the meso gear sweetwater + pensalir is fine till you can get further.

    ​

    What I'd suggest is get your main into a guild or building up the kanna heavily either way. While I'd focus on something for a quick dirty set up you need carries at fes2 suiciding at 205 this can be done in pensalir. What I'm personally going for is 3set alien + 3 set sengoku + 4 set cra +tyrants I personally think skipping abso is easier. Getting carries to get abso gear or progression to solo it is a massive difference.

    Anyways even with my suboptimal rates and gear this is VERY accessible and fast progression. With event's going on even better USE them.

    Right now after a few days at fes2 I went to 210 for chu chu and with reverse city coming soon I think the gap may be even smaller but with just a 2k legion and the right set up kanna stand's strong and could be taken up here quick.

    I have 0 nodes besides for decent HS and even in a terrible setup this is all very easily obtainable.

    As i just reached chu chu today I'm going to test later what rates I can get at that point as long as i remember, I'll update this guide more I'm currently waiting to see how the changes effect the class. With kish reverse city etc. But since adele is coming out I figured why not leave it here for all the old players coming back with suicide kannas.

    Mesos rates are so high? Will they drop? (GMS)

    I want to use the auction house and so I'm trying to get mesos from the mesos market but why is it $18 USD for 1 billion mesos? This is Aurora, GMS. I want to buy some gear but maybe I should wait for prices to drop?

    I can't run hard bosses so I can't farm mesos well. Only fast way to get mesos for me right now is the Maple Tour thing which isn't even that fast.

    So, I have a lv 164 night lord. I just don't have the motivation to single level him to 200. I wouldn't mind maining NL on reboot. But I also wouldn't mind maining NW.

    I think what turned me away from my night lord was how bad his survivability was. Does this change towards mid-late game?

    Should I tera burn NL?

    I don't like button mashing a bunch of different keys which.

    Just want honest opinions. LMK :)

    So should I use the Von Leon Set since you can buy a ton of them for coins and can roll better flames or use the level 140 set that is a bit harder to get?
