| Posted: 06 Jan 2020 05:51 PM PST Just wanted to post this here. I happened to come across maplestory music on youtube and felt extreme nostalgia of pre-bigbang maplestory. The type that tugs on your heart until you cry uncontrollably. I literally sat for 30 minutes reminiscing about the game from 2005-2010, I remember all the interactive pqs, fun events and adventures that I would go on to find high level players in dangerous areas with my thief. No other game has made me felt this way. Going through adulthood with much more responsibilities makes me want to go back in time to when I used to get home from school and play maplestory with my siblings and socialize with random people. I realized I haven't felt the same happiness ever since. I have tried playing the game again but it just doesn't feel the same. These memories are killing me and it doesn't help that I'm depressed. Life now just feels meaningless and is full of hardship. Dunno if anyone else feels this way. I just wanted to share what I was experiencing, and maybe wanted to hear what you guys have been doing to cope or to rekindle the same joy from back then. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 07 Jan 2020 12:14 AM PST So after the 30% starforcing event that just went by on Sunday, I farmed up 100b to try and Starforce my Gollux belt (reinfored and pink bean belts to 22* then transfer to my Sup belt). I ended up using all the 100b, blew up like 6 reinforced and 4 pink bean belts, and still only got another reinforced belt to 16 stars. RNG is the bane of my existence. Its things like these that kinda made me wish I was not on Reboot but on N.Servers so I can just pay some $$$ for items instead of relying on RNG. But then I also don't want to spend like $200 per item LOL [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 07 Jan 2020 12:03 AM PST Just wanted to ask if anyone know show bad the ping latency from australia will affect me from playing dawn warrior, or if anyone has any anecdotal experiences Thought they looked cool and from what i've read, some people say they're heavily ping reliant whereas others say it's not too bad so i'm unsure of who to believe. Of course if no one knows, then i'll just ask what's the earliest level i get the full boss/damage rotation so i can test it myself I'm in reboot if that matters [link] [comments] | ||

I'm not at the point where I could afford to 15 or 17 star the sweetwater accessories. Do I stick with these and grab epic potential with 6% main stat or just switch over and 12 star sweetwater accessories will be better? Similar situation with my gloves - would I prioritize other absolab stuff first to not lose this flame? [link] [comments] | ||

| Trying to remember a skill from very long ago Posted: 06 Jan 2020 09:39 AM PST Recently got back to maple and I vividly remember one skill that I saw many years ago in Netts pyramid but I can't remember what class and job it was. Basically shoots a long green beam horizontally that stretches across the screen, for a few seconds (if I'm not wrong.) Anybody recognises this??? [link] [comments] | ||
| MapleStory freezes computer then restarts Posted: 06 Jan 2020 05:54 PM PST Hi, so when I launch maplestory and idle on the character select screen, it always freezes my entire pc and restarts after a certain amount of time(around 2 minutes). When I manage to log in to my character before it freezes, my game manages to stay on for ~10minutes before my computer freezes and restarts on it's own. I have no issues with computer freezing in other games, only maplestory. Only thing I can think of that would cause this issue is from upgrading my pc. I've never had this issue before I upgraded my pc (intel i5 4590 to ryzen 5 1500x). If anyone has experienced this kind of issue with ryzen cpus, pls help. [link] [comments] | ||
