    Full Wondroid S3 Guide + Videos: bit.ly/wondroidguide

    Posted: 03 Feb 2020 06:25 PM PST

    Guide Link

Decided to slap together a guide w/ corresponding videos for the jump quests etc. Includes quick rundown of the full S3 questline, tips + tricks to keep in mind, an explanation of how to get 300 coins easily before beginning the jq for real, and a walkthrough of the actual questline and jump quests.

I tried to compile bugs people have reported here but I personally didn't run into many myself so I cannot confirm them - please confirm whether or not the bugs I listed still persist and/or let me know if there are bugs that aren't listed!

I might write out a guide for S1/S2 if people think it's useful. Any comments/feedback is appreciated, especially corrections where I am wrong! Thanks and good luck!

Mechanical Hearts Wondroid Season 1 Quest Walkthrough

    Posted: 03 Feb 2020 11:30 PM PST

I was compiling the quest data for my personal use, but decided to post this on reddit along with a bit more information. The big part of this is to check where you are on the storyline.

I may be missing or incorrect a few things here and there. Let me know and I'll add or correct it.

    Notes

    • Completing Season 3 is required to unlock Season 1 for v.211 - Mechanical Utopia.
    • Completing Season 1 is required to unlock Season 2.
    • If you're just here to unlock Investigation Mode to farm Aspire Commemorative Coins you can follow the walkthrough up until "Distrust But Verify".
    • Anything daily will be reset at 0:00 UTC.
    • Additional Entries for Rescue or Investigation Mode requires an Aspire Visitor's ID.
    • Unlocking Season 1 Wondroids for purchase requires completing their respective quests.
    • Unlocking rescues for certain Wondroids require completing a prequest beforehand.

Bugs (as of Feb 4th, 2020)

    • "None of A Kind" is currently bugged for those who have completed it in a previous run-time of the event where interacting with Alora in the Quarantine Area of Aspire Industries B4 does not complete the quest.
    • As stated in other threads, dying too many times in Rescue Mode for any season could potentially softlock you from reviving due to the lack of a revive prompt.
    • In Rescue Mode when the elevator is moving there is a chance you can clip through it and fall. Wait until the elevator stops before proceeding.
    • Instancing may be capped which softlocks players when attempting to enter via staircase to the next area, commonly towards B1. Continue to attempt entering the portal.
    • Instancing may be capped for Investigation Mode where you may not be warped in after Spencer prompts to send you in. Leaving the Hideout, changing channels, and entering the Hideout is recommended. Spencer will advise otherwise that you cannot do anymore investigations for the day.
    • There is currently a bug where if "Hacking Tool Detected" reaches a counter of 2/2, they are locked out of Rescue and Investigation Mode.

For those who are out of the loop, I'll briefly explain the two modes for Mechanical Hearts Wondroid and some key notes.

Rescue Mode: The objective is to escape Aspire with a Wondroid. Using WonderLync the player must control both themselves and the Wondroid to the end of each stage. There are 5 Stages, four stages which are series of jump quests with instant-death traps and one stage moving to the right and quick-time-events destroy the barricades before the guards arrive which the player must defeat or run away from them.

    • Skills and Pets are restricted.
    • Death traps include: Lasers, spike walls, and steam vents.
    • Interactions include: buttons (mouse-clicking), pressure buttons (standing), and vents (basic attack).
    • Monsters include: Camkitten, Aspire Security Guard, Aspire Engineer, and Guardroid Model 13. Defeat them with basic attacks.
    • Unlike Season 3, checkpoints within each area of Season 1 are halfway of the map or the staircase, so if you fail or die you'll be moved back to the last checkpoint.
    • Failing at the start of B4 will end your run.
    • Logging out can also potentially end your run. (not sure how this works)
    • The B1 checkpoint is when you reach the right-side map portal, pressing up before walking back to the left portal.
    • Failing at ground floor will warp back to the staircase checkpoint.
    • Each Stage in Rescue Mode has a limit of reward EXP up to 5 times per day. Completing Rescue Mode entirely rewards 100 Aspire Commemorative Coins.
    • After successfully rescuing Aster the first time for "A Friend Built Just For You", one entry per day is provided for Rescue Mode.
    • Additional Entries requires an Aspire Visitor's ID.

Investigation Mode: The player can freely venture into Aspire to loot and gather information for respective quests.

    • Requires the quest "Distrust But Verify" completed.
    • Certain quests require the use of Investigation Mode.
    • Monsters within the instances scale to your level. They include: Camkitten, Aspire Security Guard, Aspire Engineer, Guardroid Model 6, Guardroid Model 13, and Guardroid Model 82.
    • Drop rewards from monsters include Aspire Commemorative Coins, Power Elixirs, Spell Traces, and trait boosters that increase by +30 of the respective trait.
    • Investigation Mode can be done 5 times per day with a 15 minute time limit.
    • Additional Entries requires an Aspire Visitor's ID.

    Shop Notes (Season 1 & 2)

    • Buying a Wondroid or their clothing requires successfully escaping with the respective Wondroid in Rescue Mode.
    • Clearing Rescue Mode once, four, and eight times unlocks the Belt, Pendant, and Badge respectively.
    • The Badge cannot have potential or bonus potential.
    • Season 2 completion is required to buy their respective items: Adam Wondroid, Eve Wondroid and Can't Live Without You Chair.

Entry Rewards (as of Mechanical Utopia): Players are rewarded depending on how many times they have entered Rescue Mode. This is noted in the quest "Daily Dose of Rescue".

    • 5th Entry: Pendant of the Spirit, 100 Aspire Commemorative Coins*, 1* Aspire Visitor's ID.
    • 15th Entry: 5000 Spell Traces, 150 Aspire Commemorative Coins, 1 Aspire Visitor's ID
    • 25th Entry: 5 Storm Growth Potions, 300 Aspire Commemorative Coins, 1 Aspire Visitor's ID.

    Demon avenger need REVAMP

    Posted: 04 Feb 2020 01:51 AM PST

    • As a main Demon Avenger here, and there will be a lot of suggestion about this.
The demon blast skill 5th need a rework, it is unsuable. In every timelines, whenever I used it, I need to stop Execution to start charge and it delays and is not smooth at all ( you will miss 2 attack and 12 lines of execution at that time, unfair ). And it costs a lot of HP per second, and the damage after charging is not great at all.
Suggestion : - Turn it into a buff that deal damage like that every 5 second, have no cooldown, less damage but okay
      - Simple press button to release a Huge Explosion deal damage, = at 2 nd change, has cooldown
      - Turn to passive skill, when ever Demon Avenger lost 10% Hp, it will trigger and deal damage.
      - Rework to a new skill .
    • Second, all stats need including Hp and Mp. In other words, we Da can not use 2 lines when cubing like other character. It gives a bad feeling for us. And the rebirth flame give only all stats, we also can't use it. I just only can put it on Hp....

What does Nexon expect us to do with 30 Memory Chips per day?

    Posted: 03 Feb 2020 02:24 PM PST

Assuming you did dailies from day 1, the maximum amount of Aspire Memory Chips obtainable by one character is 900 + (30 * 28) = 1740 chips.

Obviously that is not enough when each item costs hundreds, or thousands, of chips.

What makes this coin shop even more ridiculous is that some of the items require you to complete all 3 seasons. Here is the list:

    Scion Effect - 600 Chips

Wondroid Audio Modules - 900 Chips

Error Message Damage Skin - 900 Chips

    Scion's Invitation - 1100 Chips

    Skyroid - 1200 Chips

This means you need minimum of 4 characters with all 3 seasons finished if you want all of them. And just how many jump quests would that be? Let's find out.

    [S3 Alora + S3 Sky + S1 any 4 Wondroids (to unlock Alora quest) + S2 Adam + S2 Eve] * 4 = 32 fucking JQs.

So unless Nexon adds more methods to gain chips, or you're really desperate to collect them all, I say just grab Aloraroid/Skyroid with your main and forget about the event.

I hate this mechanical hearts event...

    Posted: 03 Feb 2020 10:51 AM PST

I really hate this event... Finally get past B1 and get to B4 only for the game to glitch out after I get catapulted into the spike wall and refuse to let me revive at the nearest save point. So I'm stuck there dead without an option to revive and pressing restart on the side did nothing so I had to force close the game. Log back into the game to see that I got sent to B3 which is annoying but still fine. Only to realize that since I spawned in B3 after dying on B4, I had 50 hp and got instantly killed by the first mob. Now I'm forced to start from B1 all over again.

Someone just end me already. This event is actual torture.

Nightwalker Quintuple vs Quad Star Node

    Posted: 04 Feb 2020 01:44 AM PST

Which one do you focus on? I've looked through some thread and everyone seems to agree on quintuple star, though when I look at the numbers I'm a bit confused as to why that is the case.

This is my calculation, however I'm not a hardcore maple player so forgive me if this is simply incorrect.

    Quintuple Star Damage: 1835 (4x340 + 475)

    Quad Star Damage: 1300 (3x300 + 400)

WITH MAX NODES these numbers become the following:

    Quintuple Star Damage: 1835*1,2 (120%FD) = 2202

    Quad Star Damage: 1300*1,8 (180%FD) = 2340

So based on these estimations Quad Star does more damage if you have max nodes? Or am I missing something here? Cheers in advance
