| First CRA Boss down!! So hyped. :') Posted: 14 Apr 2020 01:38 AM PDT Hi all! It's not a big deal for many, but as a fairly casual player I never thought I'd take out a CRA boss (CPierre)! I just wanted to share because I was SO excited. I've slowly worked on my Hayato for a while, so it's super satisfying to see my progress! I had a streak of good luck - about ten black cubes got me two legendaries and raised my range by about 600k. I had gotten close to CPierre a few times but always failed at the split. With the increased damage, I figured I might be able to... And finally got him with 5 minutes to spare after some tedious micromanaging! He dropped a cute hat that I'm keeping as a memento of today. :') On to the chicken next! [link] [comments] | ||

| Reboot Sweetwater Pendant vs. Sweetwater Earrings. Posted: 13 Apr 2020 04:20 PM PDT The current meta for pendants and earrings is to run 2x superior pendants + sweetwater earrings (16* meister transpose). The key reasoning for this is because
However, with the addition of gollux shop restock, it is now feasible to 22* your superior earrings, allowing a different configuration to become better. You may have heard about the new strategy to transpose dominator onto sweetwater pendant, and to switch from sweetwater earrings back to superior earrings. The new meta setup is 1x superior pend, 1x sweetwater pend (16* dominator transposed) + superior earrings. How much better is this change though, and is it worth it if you have 22* equips? Here is the stat break down: Old Meta stats: Sup Pend: 28 all/ 5 atk Sweetwater Earrings: 10 all/ 0 atk Total: 38 all/ 5 atk New Meta stats: Sweetwater Pend: 34 all/ 0 atk Superior Earrings: 15 all/ 10 atk Total: 49 all/ 10 atk Analysis: Since every other equipment stays the same, there is no need to to calculate the stats for anything except for the 1 pendant and earrings we are swapping. Additionally, dominator and meister earrings have the same level so the flames and transposing will have the stat gain. Lastly, the total amount of stat/atk gained during the starforce process will be identical between the two sets because both of them have 1 lvl 150 accessory + 1 lvl 160 accessory. Same could be said for potentials. Thus, the only difference in between the two sets is the base stats. For that, we get a difference of 11 stat, 5 atk. Using a simple of heuristic of 1 atk = 3 stat, we get a gain of 26 stat equivalent when switching from old meta to new meta. For people who run ocean glow/inverse earrings, they have a 2 stat, 1 atk (5 atk equiv) gain over the old meta, and a 9 stat, 4 atk (21 stat equiv) loss over the new meta. Conclusion: A 26 stat equivalent difference is a substantial enough gain so that anyone who have not completed 22*ing either equips should switch, even if they currently have a 17* transposed earrings. The exception to this is if the flames on your meister earrings are good enough to offset the switch. With a realistic settle point of 100 stat equivalent before transposing, you will need to have a 120-125 stat equivalent flame on your meister earrings to make the switch unnecessary. For people who have already 22* their earrings and pendant, it's all a judgement call on whether or not to make the switch. My recommendation is to finish starring every other equip, then choosing the switch as a final optimization. Lastly, ocean glow earrings and inverse earrings are now relegated back to being anvil options as they are too hard to obtain while being inferior options. TLDR There is a 26 stat equivalent different switching from sup pend + sw earrings to sw pend + sup earrings. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 13 Apr 2020 01:46 PM PDT Since nexon nerfed the bye bye station, people have been looking into alternatives the last few weeks, especially new players. So here's a decent spot do grind for lvl 110-130 assuming you don't bother to suicide since its such a low level area. The brown teddys in ludubrium along with a few other mobs in that same area drop 3 bags of mesos per kill, about 2000-3000 per bag. With all the double drop events happening this month, and new players returning to stave off boredom from the quarantine, it's a decent spot to get some mesos do you can star force and cube so you can take care of early game bosses for equips. If anyone has any other good maps for later levels, please comment! | Need help on downloading MapleSEA. Posted: 14 Apr 2020 02:28 AM PDT Hello, I was able to download MapleSEA prior to this but decided to reinstall the game after it not being able to auto patch (stuck at some point when patching) to v1.94.2. But now when I try to download using playpark downloader, it seems that the download speed is extremely slow. Same goes for downloading the mirror links on the website. It shows that the download speed is 10 KB/s or sometimes 0. Anyone can provide any help on this? I also don't remember it being this slow when I downloaded it before. Cheers! [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 14 Apr 2020 12:19 AM PDT So I commenced playing on Reboot on the NA server last night, and created a Luminous because why not? But then I noticed something different. I can't tell if it's Reboot or not, but after blowing up Lania's cottage, I noticed that I could now choose between Light and Dark modes (I picked light). Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but when Lumi was first introduced in GMS, you were restricted to the Dark mode (Lumi leaves Lania to her fate), and you could freely switch between light and dark later on. But it seems to me I'm playing the KMS version of Lumi, where you choose your path and switch automatically between modes. Now, I am not complaining. I'm just more intrigued than anything else, and I'm just wondering when did this change happen? Or is it just Reboot where this happens and not the other four worlds? Like I said, I'm actually enjoying my Lumi, and I'm definitely not complaining. But it would be nice to find out when the gameplay changed! Thanks in advance [link] [comments] | ||
