    Reboot Lag Guide - Channels Tier List.

    Good Evening fellow Maplers.

    It appears that there are a lot of misinformed players complaining about Reboot lagging, however I will be your messiah and inform you that it is most likely due to channel difference. Not all channels are created equal, so I have compiled a tier list of all available channels in Reboot that have the least amount of lag. By following this list, you will be able to play Maple in it's finest quality.

    Good Tier

    You will find little to no lag in these channels. These are the optimal channels to train/farm in.

    Channels: 6, 8, 10, 11 , 13, 16, 19

    Mid Tier

    Somewhat laggy, but can become really bad during certain hours. These are okay to train in for the most part.

    Channels: 3, 4, 15

    Garbage Tier

    Actual dog channels. Avoid at all costs.

    Channels: 1, 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 17, 18

    Channels 20-30 Tier

    These are so bad they deserve a tier of their own. There are rumors that maybe one channel in this tier is not so laggy as Garbage Tiers, but I would still avoid all together.

    And with that, hopefully you guys can have an optimal playing experience in GMS Reboot.

    Looking back at 2020, one of the major positives I can take from it is all the new friends I made on Maple.

    Catharsis has always been a small guild full of memories, so even when most of the members stopped playing in 2013 or so, it was never disbanded. Fast forward to 2020, when quarantine resulted in a strong desired to do something and nothing at the same time, Maplestory was the answer. I can't say how much finding old friends and guildies still playing has helped me through this year. But not only that, rebuilding the guild with new friends and getting to know them has meant so much to me this year.

    Let's look forward to another year (maybe?) of progressing, chatting, and afk'ing together, Catharsis, like we always have done~

    P.S. We're always recruiting for people looking for a casual guild =)

    Reboot is legit unplayable for me. I can barely do my arcane river dailies the mobs won't move and I keep dcing. And it isn't my internet. So annoying, anyone else having this problem recently (last 2 weeks or so)?

    Help me find the Legion Arena Attacker Formula!

    There's three weeks left for the Legion Arena event, and I thought I'd try to figure out the formula for Legion Arena attackers, especially since it'll be a recurring event, indicated by 'Season 1' in the title of the event.

    What we know so far -

    We know that the formula is based off Character Level, Star Force and Arcane Power.

    We already have the Attacker Level Damage Formula:

    Time to calculate Arcane Force increases. I don't have all the data, so this is where you guys come in.

    Here's a little bit of information I tried to put together.

    My character's base number in my Legion window is 22,584,874.

    When I go to the Legion Arena Lobby, my character's number is 22,603,773.

    That means that, for some reason, characters have an extra 18,899 attacking power in Legion Arena compared to the base number on the Legion window. This also applies to all my characters regardless of Level, Star Force, and regardless of whether they have completed the 5th Job quests or not. Unfortunately, I don't have any characters under 200, so I cannot say if it is the same for characters under 200 (because the game might not apply this bonus, and just assumes if your character is 200 it automatically assigns 5th Job and the extra 18,899 to it - if anyone can confirm, let me know)

    Anyway, I have max Arcane Force, so I decided to equip my Symbols individually to see what the differences were. [Note that Guild and Hyper Stat Arcane Force have no effect on Legion Arena] [Also, the type of Arcane Symbol does not matter, only total Arcane Force from Symbols matters]

    Wolfram Alpha says the formula might be something similar to

    Damage = (1/1500) AF3 + (127/200) AF2 + (11327/60) AF + 3

    This applies perfectly up to 80, but not 1320. I suspect the coefficients change as Arcane Force increases, but I'm not exactly sure by how much. If anyone can give me the change in Arcane Force in Legion Arena specifically when equipping/de-equipping Arcane Symbols from values 90-220 and over, I think I might be able to formulate a pattern.

    I'll try to keep this post updated as I try and figure out more values.

    Or maybe some Korean website/dataminer already has the formula and it's floating around on Discord somewhere and I've just wasted my time :'( [But in that case let me know too]

    (Takeaways for now: Max Arcane Force is equivalent to around 290 Star Force, which is in turn equivalent to a Level 199 character)

    Most underplayed class

    Hey guys,

    I quit a long time ago playing Maple and I would like to try playing it again. I was wondering what the most underplayed / rarest classes are right now? I always liked to try to play these to make them work, so I'll probably go with one of these classes (preferably explorer).

    Ark Training Spots 245+

    Hi all,

    I have a decently strong midgame Ark (38k stat) with over 1.1k arcane force. I just finished the moonbridge quest after hitting 245 today. I heard vc3 was great for training from 245 to 250 but this was from my adele friend and if you guys don't know, Adele can hit all 3 platforms from the middle platform of vc3 (including below).

    Just wondering if I should just keep training at mts4 for the 250 grind or if there is somewhere in moonbridge that could be better than esfera for me. Mostly because I want to change it up since I've been grinding at mts4 for a decent amount of levels now.

    I know sellas has some good maps coming up and I will probably use those, but moonbridge would be ideal since the mobs are the highest level and I can 1shot them.

    Can you still roll BD% with MCC?

    I've been rolling MCCs (Mastercraftman Cubes) on my Lvl 100 Emblem for around 3 or 4 months now at around 2-3 cubes a day and haven't seen a single line of boss damage.

    Is someone able confirm if they have rolled boss damage from a MCC? If not I don't want to continue wasting my MCC's...

    I know the Globe event is over in a few days, people are probably fed up with it, and chairs aren't as rare anymore, but if you still need a chair and don't want to pay for one in the AH i can give it to you. i'd smega it but i don't have smegas lol. first comment on this post gets it ig?

    Exp buff for levelling up

    Just some background info: I am a zero main in MSEA My zero is level around 220

    I need some advice on what are the possible exp buff that I can obtain to speed up levelling. Currently I have 2x exp coupons,Decent HS,Legion at level 4190,Mercedes link skill level 1. Would any kind soul give me more tips on it? Thanks in advance!
